You have no idea how happy it is for me to see you are back to your old self.
After looking depressed last night.

Haha! Can I just say that the fences and seats in the Visitors Section of the Tardis are very strong and coped very well with my right slipper giving them a Siggie Style clearance kick every few minutes!

Also thanks to the Security guys who stood just enough distance away to convince me that a kamikaze run into the North Terrace was actually not a great idea as I probably didnt have the pace to make it the 20yds or so over there!

I now realise why Hard News is a little portly after so many years of supporting NZ Football. If thats what the Phoenix have done to me...

good seasons for the boys tho. not great. just good.

its funny reading this forum after a match, so much love and hate for the same players at the same club. facts of life that a team will have good and bad players. get over it.

im looking forward to the post moss-smeltz era's. but what the f**k am i going to do for the nxt 6months(?) with no weekends to look forward to...
I have an amazing ability to find my way out of mazes. I'm pathological.

Had a brief chat to Lochead at the airport.
He thought that the second goal last night was going wide. I dont hold anything against him. Easy mistake to make.

I actually thought most of th guys played pretty well. Melbourne just got lucky with their goals.
Ferrante seems to have lost some of his touch or confidence or something, he was nothing of his former self - not sure why he wasn't subbed. Daniel did nothing, but still was a better prospect than ferrante, Kwasnik, didn't do much better when he came on.............so really confused by Herberts subbing of Daniel who had the potential to do something with a guy who hasn't done enything all season, whilsrt leaving a guy on who is tripping over himself.

We out shot the tards in the second half, and the best chance we had to score was blocked twice by Smeltz who was standing with his back to the action right in front of the goal. He has been on holiday for the last two games. costa was fantastic and caused plenty of trouble for the tqards D.

I'm disspointed we lost but not with the obvious improvements we have made since last season.

Lets hope he keeps it up next year

I dont know about him thinking that goal was going wide..it looked fairly spot on to me...and i really thought that a good defender would have at least attempted something the ball wasnt travelling very fast

Bigs ups to Dura for rallying the boys over to the away section after the game. Especially when they probably weren't in the mood.  I partially liked my man love moment with siggy the seamonster.

How did that conversation go?

"Hey Tony, you f**ked up badly for that 2nd goal, eh? What were you f**king thinking?"

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

lochhead has been crap all season, so no surprise really with the second goal, very poor from him, herbert really does need to do something next season if he continues to play like that week in week out.

I feel that one reason could be is because no pressure from anyone in our squad to take his position, If we get another LB even if hes only a back up for cover, lochhead will be under more pressure to get into the starting line-up and hopefully up his performance.

May I suggest you think about what you are both saying..
Lochead wont have to worry about next season..
Lets ponder this statement.

Had a good time at the away section at the Dome (even if the ticket lady had no idea what a "Away Supporters" or "Visitors" section was), 99% of the Melbourne fans were friendly and we had a good chat with one at half time. Impressive work with the flare out the front afterwards as well :D

New stadium should be pretty cool.

It was going wide. If you watch the replay it takes an offbreak Daniel Vettori would be proud of to go into the net.
Tough break, as they say.

On a brighter note, the mighty Swans beat Pompey in the Cup.

Ah. Thanks for clearing that up, mate. Obviously, I didn't really believe that you'd gone with my version, but nowadays, what with the drinking and getting tattooed, anything's possible!
