Aye?  Corrales came steaming down the middle of the pitch after it broke with Jamie Mason down the Phoenix right flank.

Marco was playing left midfield.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Can anyone confirm that this is going ahead?
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Not true.  Wests tomorrow is the last one at this stage.

May drag my lazy arse over to the Devil's Anus aka Porirua tonight. What is the squad likely to be with folk away with the AW's?

Do they sell beer there?

Or will I have to stash a few in my coat like?

...as he is not expected in Wellington for three weeks (assume his contract with Tranmere is until June 30th) I'd call it unlikely.

I haven't made training this week but suspect it will look like last weeks side:

Crowther
Lia - Dura - McKain - Ian Hogg
Party all the time - Daniel - ickle Mikey Eager - Marco Rojas
Coasta - Astroclaus

Maybe a start for Villazon or Tim Myers.  A chance Diego may take some part seeing as he played some part in training last Friday.

Club rooms are usually open, not sure if they will sell you a beer to take out of the clubrooms though (suspect not).  We couldn't condone the 2nd option... but it seems to work for Coxey.

I know I only keep half an eye on this forum out of season but what the hell is an Astroclaus? Sounds like he should be having a punch with Godzilla. Am I missing something here ?

Unsure, but good luck anyone trying to get out to Porirua from town. From our perch overlooking the motorway going out of town it is backed up a long long way and is crawling along

Astrauskas scored and Daniel limped off with what looked like an ankle injury pretty blah first half really but Wests were having a good go at the phoenix and the phoenix to be fair aren't really going at full pace although they were bossing it just a wee bit i had to leave at half time it was 1-0

Brilliant giddyup.  Thanks for the update.  Good to hear that Astroclaus scored.  Hope Daniel's injury is nothing serious.

According to my source it is 2-0 at the mo with Costa scoring a volley.

It might be (Daniels injury) he took two knocks the second he knew straight away he was in trouble,he wasn't putting anyway weight on it,so limped was probably the wrong word more like hopped off the ground  i guess wait and see tomorrow

oh and about 2 minutes after Daniel the dude at leftback pulled a hamstring so he left also sorry don't know his name

Assuming it started at 7 then it is.  Now we have to wait for everyone to get home.

Home now..2-0.  Second half was much beter than first in places..minus Daniel which helped.  His first 5 passes were shocking.  Lithuanian (must learn to spell his name) did well enough..held it up a few times..had a few shots in target and then scored wel enough.  Costa is class..albeit he took too many players on to many times..but he has great control.

Early days but to much passing across and keeping possession and not enough through balls or running at defenders.

Good hit out tho and better then last weeks.

A small town in Europe........looking to bounce straight back up....well that aint going to happen

Final score 2 - 0

Astro took his goal well and laid on Costa's.

Generally pretty poor match with not too much to excited about. Highlight would be small cameo from Diego who looks like he can control the midfield, where to be honest Ferrante, Daniel and Lia had looked pretty average.

The young guy Rojas again looks an exciting prospect.

the BEST player of the WHOLE GAME has got to be Marco hands down.

Astro is well........ not all that flash in my opinion. he butcherd 3 chances which my granny could have scored.

Crowther did brilliant, controlled the area well (better than Paston) and made a blinder of a save from a free kick which was heading for the top corner. he's got the goods.

overall a very average performance.

That was one out of about 20 chances, though he was rubbish.
