Now we have got the debacle of the OFC qualifers out of the way we can focus on the new season

So I believe we started pre-seaon last week, Who turned up? only four or five as I understand

Obviously 7 All Whites away, so one images they will now get a week off to recover from their 7 games in 10 days trek

So in reality it won`t get started until the 18th which could also see the introduction of the "Junior 8"

Who still on the injured list ?

Has Gouldie turned up yet ?

2 Under 21 signings to come

New off shore stricker to come

Who`s going to be our right back ?

Who are the "Junior 8"

Any pre-season off shore tours?

Any overseas teams to visit?

Pre-season games against local teams, NZ Olympic Squad ?

Four months of joy and anguish, Beautiful

All I want is a preseason game against an A-League team either in Wellington or within driving distance of Wellington.

I'd be keen for another YF assault on Dunedin.

weka park was a good game .but was a small pitch compared to what the nix are used to playing on i think.was also good for the nix to get out into the greater wellington reigons fanbase.

hopefully they do more of this because it is good for the clubs and good for the nix aswell.

Hasn't rikki come back from overseas recently .i thought he'd been looking for a new striker?

When do the new artificial pitches get finished in Upper Hutt? Could be a good way to open them.

I have it on good authority that the players generally don't like to train/play too much on artificial pitches. They will use them if all other options are no good though.

Fuck this stupid game

More questions...

Why has Lee Taylor left?

Who is Neil Hammond? He's listed on Linked In as Commercial Executive at Wellington Phoenix since June 2012 and is also the contact person on Seek for the recruitment of a Finanical Controller and the Strength & Conditioning Coach. Why no announcement (not even on Facebook) of what seems like an important role?

Apparently LT left because he needed to go home for family reasons.

Neil came from one of the Nix nine and was working alongside Domey when Domey got the promotion so assume he's slipped in to Domey's old role.  Alex (name escapes me) has gone back to Melbourne as well i believe.

Ricki Herbert missing in action for 4 weeks. Is it ideal pre-season preperation ?

Only if he comes back with an ace striker and a RB

Probably cant bring both unless one is a kiwi/aussie

I don't mind that Ricki has gone overseas now that Greenacre was running all the training sessions anyway.

Getting his instructions down the phone from Ryan Nelsen, right?

Is the Pre-Season tour to India definately going to happen ??

Have heard rummors but no fixed date or itinerary

A month into training with only one pre-season game confirmed, are we behind the 8 ball again??

I think a lot of games against Wellington selections as per last year will happen. If India goes ahead will we get any coverage. ( Youth are playing for 1 spot to go to india) Also talk of Australian games rumoured.

Both CCM & Adelaide have announced their pre-season games. Neither are playing any games against us.

[Edit: also the Roar's pre-season games are out, and again they are not playing us either.]

CCM have announced their pre-season games. There is no game against us.

Perth are in South Africa and have already played 2 games over there (a loss and a win). The Roar and West Sydney have already started playing games too, both winning 5-0 over '2nd tier' sides over the last couple of days.

The Jest started playing local sides about 3 weeks ago also as did the Tards

I guess we are basing our pre-season around this India trip, so it would be nice if they could announce any info about it.

If we are to have an A-League team play us in NZ, there isn't many options now. Adelaide, CCM & Roar have said their plans. Glory is in South Africa, and doubt would want to fly here for a game. We play Sydney in round 1, so that is probably off the table. Wanderers I think will want to play games in West Sydney as much as possible. Jets hate coming to NZ.

Maybe we could get the Victory over? We don't face them in NZ until Easter Sunday.

Is Ricki back in the country or still in UK searching ??

Must be some games on the horizon surely....Still no confirmation of the India Trip ?

I`m off to a Ping Pong tournament in Thailand next week and would definately consider extending my trip to include India if I new what was going down.

No official confirmation as far as I know, but the players were talking about it as though it was a sure thing.
