Good goal by us.

Still think Huysegems is overrated.

Poor defending by us for both goals though, one from Adams and one from Fenton.

We may have a lot of 3-2 and 4-2 games this season!

Not really sure how he's overrated. It's not like he's been hyped up by anyone. He has a lot to prove this season.

This style of play seems to suit Stein so well. Quick one touch football, I genuinely think Brockie might struggle.

Not seen much of how he's been playing at Toronto then?

I have seen a bit of Brockie at Toronto. Havn't been overly impressed to be honest. On the other hand, been to all pre season games (except in Aus) and have liked the look of how Stein is playing. I think it would be extremely harsh to start Brockie over Stein in the first few games at least..

Heck no. I'm sure they would be more interested in comments of uni graduates and government employees.

the thing I find a bit unusual is Toronto are enamoured with him yet he has had 1 goal in 13 games. He'd be slated here for that.

it was a large crowd. Guess there is nothing to do when the gym shuts in Parramatta

I looked at both of those and my first thought was what well taken chances but then, they did it twice... Not exactly sharp marking is it
I though Boxall and Adams were responsible?

This would only be valid if the season were starting tomorrow. Given that Brockie is about to come back and there are close to two months left before the season starts, I'd say there is still plenty of time for either Stein or Brockie to be making their case for a starting spot.

Not necessarliy true. There are countries that have 2 seasons a year. Argentina last time I checked had 2 19 game seasons

Watched most of Toronto's games actually. Not too sure what you're trying to get at there. Toronto play worse football than us last season.

Agree, but think Brockie's vision and link play has been good and hopefully he can fit well into this system. I rate him, and while he'll have to compete I think he's a multi-faceted footballer, who we hope can become a game winner.

Following this via Bet365's live updates.  Most unusual.Still 1-0 after 75 minutes, wait Newcastle "dangerous attack", wait, Nix "Dangerous free kick" and so it goes on.

Preseason.  It gets to you.

I know, I know, its serious!

Virgili cutting in from the right flank a lot, guessing that is past Caira ..

Actually might be Ridenton, Caira was subbed early

Well played by the Nix. Sounds like we were on top much of the game Huysegems and Hernandez both hitting the woodwork and Boxall missing a sitter. Looks like all the kids got a run in the second half as well. Ernie must be really  interested in this kid Stevens(had a good hit out last time and started this game)

might be only one of us guessing here. Virigili crosses again, Virigili again threatening, goes past his man, Virigili wins a corner, Virigili in behind etc etc  there were only the two mentions of play from the left
but sure, dependent on the twitter feed

After reading the Jets forums, it sounds like they were hoofing it down the park for Virgili to use his pace to chase down. Against WSW we played a high defensive line and they were doing similar.
