0-0 vs Sydney behind closed doors today.

Happy with a clean sheet but without knowing any more don't know what to make of it. "Held to" sounds promising, but easily a biased opinion.

1 goal conceded in these last two friendlies is a good sign considering how many goals we conceded last year and with an import ST still to come I wouldn't worry too much abt goals scored

Watched some FFA cups and wondered how we were tracking compared to other teams.

Nobody knows. Imports not firing up, lot of young untested players, some talent, new coach in his first solo gig. We don't know the look of the kit we are playing. The word is 'transition season'.

Wellington Phoenix are set to conclude their preseason with matches against Melbourne Victory and Team Wellington over the next month.

We beat them pre-season last year iirc

doesn't look like it Wests are on facebook  saying Phoenix are playing Team Wellington tomorrow at Endeavour Park 2pm KO, preceded by TW v Weenix Youth

As I understand it, the games tomorrow at Endeavour are WeeNix v Team Wellington and WeeWeeNix v Team Wellington NYL.

My understanding is the same as Andrew's above, but like I said it very much looks like the first team is still in Wellington so guessing that chances of a game in Melbourne this weekend aren't particularly high.

ahh so it is - I just read Phoenix, but just relooked at it and it does say Phoenix National League team (wish they'd just use Weenix!)
