Aha,  so our Putter's on (the) course for a comeback, eh? You could be digging the Putter chants out yet, C-Diddy.

I'm waitng for a signature, then I will unleash some classics*!

(* This is no guarantee that they will actually be classics like many of my previous efforts!)

Awesome news. A proven goalscorer and he sounds dead keen to come to the club. That's the atitude we need!

I'd imagine it would be Google translate, the problem is it translates word for word rather than translating the sentences as a whole. Speaking from experience trying to make French speeches on there.

can someone please translate the translation

talked to a dutch friend of mine, the headline is "putter gives up hope in new zealand", article says he didnt play yet because of an ankle injury, during a training camp in china he's getting another chance to prove himself to the club, but he doesnt expect it will go well

At least he's got a positive attitude!

Well, he's not the Chinese striker, or maybe that was also a translation error

Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet

Must admit the whole recruitment thing is as clear as that Dutch translation. Ok....so the club does'nt want to create false expectations but  the whole thing is very fluid.
Next thing will be astroclaus back in town.....its all fine by me but sure hope that we get something sorted out reasonably soon.
Most other a-league teams have the bulk of their signings tucked away and are in serious preseason mode.....We have had a real disruptive preseason....what with AW's commitments and injuries and non signings i don't think we have come clos to playing a near full side in any of the games so far.

I agree. But I don't think we should rush into signings. Astroclaus wouldn't be worth what he woould be asking for in my opinion and another import would be much more effective I feel.

Putter seems dedicated so far and I'm not too sure what to believe about it but I really hope he is given a shot because I really want this one to go through. I've got a feeling.
I could get some of my dutch relatives to translate haha.

I think that possibly his ankle isn't 100% so that is why he's saying he's not expecting much. On the plus side though he must be commended for keeping at it. That's got to say something to Ricki and Tony..

I really hope he gets to show what he's got on the footy pitch cos I like his perservering attitude.

I got the impression his lack of a persevering attitude is what got him sent home in the first place.

Now we're getting desperate to find someone who will fit the price we are willing to pay and he's back in the frame.

HN, that's the most depressing thing I've read on this site for yonks.

Basically, we can't get quality. So now we re-cycle the rejects.

Great!

In my defence I was hoping that it didn't sound like the way we operate but I was despairing.  Now Tony has renewed my faith and I will continue waiting with anticipation for the impending signing of Samuel Eto'o.

Better tell us before you go Tony, the Chinese don't have a great track record of allowing people to speak via public forums!
