What he means is that because of the Thursday night game, there's only one game on Sunday. The preferred timeslot for Sunday games in Oz is 5pm (7pm here). When there's two games on Sunday we're more likely to have the 5pm slot (3pm in Oz).

last minute rock up to the stadium as watching Bathurst 1000, recording MotoGP in Japan and will also record the last hour of Bathurst.....head off to the Nix season opener, then return home to see who won Bathurst, then watch MotoGP and then it will be close to midnight which is when F1 from Russia race begins...
