Don't know how many people will make it but I've taken a hopefully punt and booked tables for 25 Phoenix fans at the George from 2pm on sat. Just look for the table signs saying Phoenix or the people in yellow and black. I can't get their til 5 so I'll join in the shenanigans then.

I've been in bed sick for 4 days...so ^&*(^* hoping I can make the warm ups...but we'll see!

Tried talking to a couple of other closer to the ground and they weren't very receptive. Pretty much said they were booked out for Christmas functions and packed out for the Parker fight.

Not making this trip or the Auckland one as we went up to Auckland for Coldplay last weekend and going again over Xmas time so couldn't really shell out for another 2 trips in the same month. PM if anyone wants a couple of extra free tickets for Hamilton since we won't be using them. Probably give the Auckland ones to my brother who lives up there, although he hasn't confirmed he wants them yet.

This would be the travelling circus which is helping the Nix achieve the metrics that the FFA are demanding as part of the licence agreement, and helping put a few $$$ into the pot, so arguably helping to the keep the Club alive? That travelling circus? Good luck with that.

You're having a laugh if you think any metrics are going to be achieved with these traveling games!

They could try marketing the club to the half million people in Greater Wellington.

How many do you think the crowd will be on Saturday night? two weeks before Xmas, Joseph Parker fight in pubs, forecast for rain

Crowd prediction of 4000 in Hamilton, 5000 in Auckland, (people who actually BUY tickets or are Season ticket holders) Anything above that, I'm picking that most of the tickets will be giveaways, just like they always do for the NZ Phoenix roadshow!

We live in a post-fact era where prejudices can't be shifted with evidence. If we got 20,000 in the Tron Hatter would just say there were 16,000 freebies given out.

I can guarantee that there will not be 20000 in Hamilton. I wish there was, but we all know that that is not going to happen!

Do it, do it now!

Also if you are not going and want to give your season pass ticket PM Yakcall.

It's a great cause, part with a few $$ to make some new 'Nix fans!

Nothing to do with Hamilton but it looks like I might be driving to Auckland.

Anyone wants a ride up there and back, pm me. I will be driving back after the game. Only two or three rules, no smoking or drinking in my car and no throwing up in it either!

I hope to leave about 5am so i can get a decent park up there and have a nana nap before the game. Where is the best place to park where my car will be safe and not towed?

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

So do you think there will be any change in shape or players for this game? We seem to be struggling up front and in front of the defence.

Hopefully the players will pull their fingers out of their arse and make a proper effort. They have the ability, time to use it.

I was expecting Durante to resign as captain if he meant what he said about the team letting Ernie down.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

He'd better bloody not. otherwise we might as well not bother. I think Dura has led by example very well, especially this season. Its not his fault the midfield and strikers haven't been scoring goals.

These kids look so happy they got Italiano and Lowry.  What the fudge are the first team doing?  Jesus wept is this game getting promoted at all?  I hope that they are hitting schools and shopping malls getting into the community in the Tron.

I've talked to other soccer fans in Hamilton and they didn't even know the game was on. The promotion of it around Hamilton has been pretty poor. Add in that it's meant tonne wet and I don't think we are going to get a good croud. Which is a shame coz, despite Patrick's calls on the pod, Hamilton is a pretty sweet place and the stadium is the best in nz for watching do football
