Can we make it four wins on the trot?

Just need to stop Ola Toivenen from scoring. He seems to have made a habit of it against the Nix.

Really no idea how this is going to play out. Part of me thinks they'll be pissed off losing to not in WA fc and we may be on the end of a beating. But the other thinks that we've nothing to fear. They're shark. We've appear to have our shark together and so I feel we can get a good result there.

How is our injury list looking so far? Any news on Rufer?

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

TAWH, Fenton injured, Rufer doubtful?

Is TAHW just in a perpetual state of injury? I feel like he's had a real bad run of it.

For this game, it will be harder than the last - they actually have wide players back fit now (Nabbout, Kruse). We still struggle against good wingers.

My bad, just since he hasn't made the last 3 matchday squads thought he must be injured

Nabbout limped off looking pretty sorry for himself late in their game against WUN. Haven't seen anything in the news since but he might not be fit for Saturday.

So Hooper will make another 5min cameo? He need to start starting some time since the Jan transfer window is near and he could easily be replaced.

What a dumb comment. As if Nix could afford to cut adrift Hooper early, or it would be easy to replace someone of his quality.

Or look at the stats, with him on the field we score a goal at better than a rate of 1 every 15 minutes.

Whilst he may not be scoring them himself (has one), he clearly add something to our side when he comes on the field.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Are there any A-league discussion TV shows? There were a few last year, but cant seem to locate them now

Fox canned all their A-League shows as part of cost cutting.

Rufer not injured it seems

would like to see this line up then. (Accidentally put Sail instead of Marinovic so ignore that)

Looks good, but I expect Piscopo to start and put in a solid shift.  If we see Hooper getting more minutes it would be by him coming off the bench earlier and earlier; especially if we are playing teams which do not play fast running style (so maybe Brisbane and the Jets).

I dont think we will see Hooper starting for some time. I thought while he was useful and was a class above the WSW defenders at Eden park, he still looked off the pace. Hope he gets 30mins this week, then more the following to slowly build him up to speed and strength, with the aim of having him fit and strong for the 2nd half of the season.

I have an amazing ability to find my way out of mazes. I'm pathological.

We signed him cuz he is a quality player. We would have expected him to be starting by now but given his recent history, we are obviously playing it safe after the setback he had.

We picked up in confidence on signing him. The fans, the players, the manager, everyone. He's had decisive contributions in at least two games. It's working- I trust Uffie and am totally fine with the role he's playing if it works

Correct. So more than enough time to get family pleasantries out of the way, and then settle in and see the Nix smash Victory in their own backyard!

Might be hard not trying to keep an eye on the live score while it's actually being played though ?

Exactly... how long does it take a professional player to get fit enough to play a full 90?

Are those Steven Taylor's fingers? or have they been photo shopped. I also think he is sweating and wearing his travelling clothes.

This game is going to be tough; say what you want about Rufer but he's been really good over the last few weeks covering wide areas. MV will push wide with Nabbout and Kruse; they've got a really dangerous front 3 now, they were lacking the last time we played them.
