We're passing it around really well but need something to show for it. No shots on target.

Have been impressed with Devlin and Steinmann passing through the lines

Not great by Payne there; you can't give Toivonen time in the box

Marinovic has really strong arms. That's certainly not the first save he's made this season that would've beaten many other keepers in the league.

Gotta keep it down there..

Ah thanks.

Man this is the best first quarter I've seen in a while.

Hopefully Piscopo can do what Sotirio did last week and score in front of his family.

telegraphing those cut backs..or leaving them short to often.  Try something different

Regular occurrence with this ref.

This game could get messy and we will cop a red for something softer than that.

I would Sotirio and Piscopo to see what he can do down that right hand side , too predictable so far

How was that hit on ball legal?

No arm wrapping league tackle seems dangerous as hell.

Really concerned we are going to ship one on the counter soon after all this dominance.

"benefit of the doubt"..no doubt with that attempt.

Devlin has faded , started really well

Every cross we've attempted has been blocked seemingly

See Roar v WUN last night. Although MV wont park the bus in the same way WUN did.

Quietly impressed with him though. Bit of the Neil Kilkenny about him: tough tackler, bit of a loudmouth, likes to direct traffic and has good, composed passing ability. Not bad for 22 yrs old

Still playing well. Good game. Maybe our best first half this season?

Still, Victory dangerous up front.

Permalink Permalink

Very average Victory team... Nix are playing some good stuff but with all that dominance and attacking thread we really need to start scoring more goals. We should at least have one by now

Feel like we've missed our moments a bit this game

No shipping a goal before HT please.

That is such a dumb fudgeing foul by Sotirio. Idiotic stuff.

Pretty enjoyable. If only we had a clinical striker to play and organise us up front, finish for us....

both Kruse and Sotirio were all over eachn other, wrestling for the ball, ciuld have gone either way.

Queenslander 3x a year.

Newer fans of the Nix would never be able to appreciate the sheer pleasure we older hands get from seeing a Nix side actually take it to Victory on their home turf. We've been ritually slaughtered there for so many years.

I know you guys think sotorio is a bit of a donkey.... but he has been huge with his pace and even sometimes some vision and flair
