Please describe goal

Hard to describe.

42' | GOOAALL!! @MelbourneCity Jakobsen reads the bounce wrong inside the area allowing #Nix Krishna to pick it up and chip Bouzanis to open the scoring #MCYvWEL (0-1)

In the years he has played for us, Roy has never not had a smile on his face after scoring. Something is up, no doubt.

Defensive fudge up by City, Roy knicked in and flicked it over the keeper.

Dariej doesnt strike me as the kind of coach that would start a guy who doesnt want to play for him

Think Roy might be relieved to finally score? Hasn't scored since october.

Apparently his contract is up in 6 months?

Anyway, no fudgeing idea how we're winning. The one positive to this tactic is that most A-League teams aren't creative enough to know how to break it down; can see their frustration already.

I'm sure it's nothing but... That really has got me feeling uncomfortable, I hope he's fine

got info from Roy (not directly) just prior to Christmas that he was happy - no issues with the club, things may have changed but I don't think any striker is ever completely happy playing defensive football that we have seen in the last two games but he is a good pro so will do what is required and hope we play some more attacking football once we have all our reinforcements on board.

God I hope you are wrong. He's the only player of real quality we have. Perhaps Rossi. But Krishna is the difference between the two teams. Look at Kalujedrovic chasing the through ball. Commentators spot on: 'City are lucky it wasn't Roy Krishna'.

Dosnt looked to be a very happy camper, not much of a reaction after he scored and still didnt look that happy walking off at halftime.

Roy doesn't look happy does he? Maybe just the teams results, out injured and hasn't been scoring as he would like.

#coachkillers. Given we haven't scored an away goal since October, it's probably more relief than celebration. Fark, we're so bloody boring to watch but can't really complain given that we're up at halftime.

Could just be bloody hot and he's done a lot of running?

yeah or he is just glad to be back scoring after a bit of an injury break - don't think we should read too much into it.

watching the replay of Roy's "celebration" it was muted, I think more out of relief to score his second this season and an away goal rather than unhappiness.

We had almost no possession but we had the better chances, yes we play very defensive but City is shark because they can't break us down. At this stage I'm not very picky any point and goals is fine for me, we refine football later in the season. So far the coach did everything right.

This season we have to take the small victories that are few and far between. Roy's goal has caused me an unexpected amount of joy.

leading at half time is a good start - I just hope we dont throw it away like the last couple of leads we've had

It's really not that hot in Melbourne at the moment - only low 20s. Plus, he is Fijian; they're known to be able to handle the heat :)

He's also been walking around the pitch and his general body language has been downbeat; which is very unlike him unless he is carrying an injury still.

Well considering how the commentators spent the entire half complaining we were too negative and were shocked that some how we had 3-4 quite decent chances and City had had none.

His shoulders and back must be fudgeed from carrying the other 10 guys around the pitch
