Refs just saying he can get us back onside. Impressed with the youngsters, including the ref. Brisbane obviously not so much at the moment.

Couple of good passes from Jeff.

Hoping our fitness will hold out worried about Lia and a couple of others.

Expect to see more situations where refs change their initial decision after March this year when the International Football Association Board who set the rules meet to allow the use of instant video replays of contentious decisions as happens in the other football codes, cricket etc.

About bloody time.

It was the big sports news story on BBC World this week.

The International FA Board met this week and approved the idea of video replays.

It's almost certain to be added to the rules of the game in March apparently when the Board meet again to decide on rule changes.

Would have to be one of the worst home town influence the ref decisions made in any sport .. whatever happened to the " respect the ref's decision " ?? .. The ref made a call , it was perhaps 50/50 , but God , talk about no respect of the officials  .. Piss poor ..

50/50?  ah yeah ok.

Felt like this reversal was down to setting the coverage on the screen. Weird set of events.

Ummmm, except it was overturned after consultation with the Linesman. Finally an Assistant Referee with some idea of what their Job Title actually means!!!

And TOTALLY NOT after looking at the replay!!

Having spent the day feeling sick as a dog the ref and linesman made the right call. About time this sort of shark went our way.

Pretty bizarre. I've seen four replays and it still looks like hand ball with minimal contact from Hernandez into Dura's back. After so much shark luck recently I'm not complaining but yet again it calls the competence of A League refs into question. I can't recall ever seeing such a thing. He was right on the spot and apparently had no doubt about the hand ball, yet changes his mind on the advice of the lino who is much further away.

Bugger. I was all mentally geared up for a comfortable loss and now I'm getting the trembles and sweaty palms.

There's plenty of time left for us to throw it away :-)

How can I forget the two times Roar scored winners in injury time a year or two back.

Ernie or not, some things with the Nix never change, ie, the panicky welly upfield instead of a calm head and keeping possession.

I blame Anthony Hudson for not sorting that out!

I only caught the last 10 minutes of that. The new fellows (Appiah, Stevens, Danaskos) looked good. Apparently Mossy played another epic blinder. Are we generally happy?
