We did it the hard way, but that was an outstanding comeback tonight!

Delighted they came back from last weeks nonsense.

Great second half. Some of the passing and movement was as good as you would see on any football field on the planet. The sign of a team

Love the hyperbole.

I was very impressed with Boyd tonight. Very pacey and quick feet, always giving their their mob something to think about. As his crossing develops he is going to be a sought after asset.

This is where Ernie's attitude of going for the win pays ff.  We got 6 points from last 9 including 2 away games where we scored 7 goals- yes we got a hiding last week but that's a decent return.  Conversely if you play for draws away from home that puts so much pressure on you to win your home matches.

Eating humble pie this week. A lot of heart shown by the whole side. Impressed.

I reckon last week against Heart was not unlike the Brisbane game against the Jets.

So we are becoming more and more like Roarcelona.  I like this concept.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Ernie must stay!

Could do with improving at home though...

At this stage an away final sounds better!

Oh my giddy Aunt. Just got home after a night out.  Just wow, just wow. And to think I put $20 on the Phoenix too. Head, heart and pocket just bulging. Oh my giddy aunt. F'ing a.

Hey you bastards I'm still here.

First half both teams were poor but in the 2nd period we made them look like dweller cellars.

Can't believe the difference in our performance. CCM will not make the top 6.

Our home/away stats say it all at this stage...

Away from home we're 4W 1D 5L - 2nd behind Brisbane on away form.

At home, 3W 4D 3L - 8th above Newcastle, and MelbH.

And our Westpac record this season is even worse - 2W 2D 3L

While I'm impressed with out away form, and we've played well enough to deserve that, our form at Westpac is really concerning. Season ticket holders, epically those who can't/don't want to attend the home away from home games probably are feeling a little hard done by. Would like to see us turn Westpac into a fortress once again.

have to agree with that, need to improve the home form to improve crowds, but hey winning away is great too. At half time I was angry at the lads especially Lia and Siggy for letting Ibini's goal happen, all is forgiven now though.

A good way to bounce back and excise the demons of last week. Well done team, showed good spirit tonight. This has to be our best "away" record ever. It gives one more incentive to travel knowing your team actually have a chance and an attitude to getting a result. Adds away trip to bucketlist!

Yes, I saw the security step in when the sbirts went off. Probably threatened them with indecent behaviour. Aussie cameras like topless women, not topless men.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

LOL. Good but hardly world class.

Couple of things a team need to give them the edge: a bit of luck (the pass deflecting straight to the feet of KC in the first minute of the 2nd half, a shit penalty by Sterjovski) and an x-factor player like Hernandez that can bang in a screamer out of nothing.

Not for a moment suggesting we didn't play well in the 2nd half but this seemed to be a contest between two mentally fragile teams and once we got on top CCM folded badly.

It's not luck when your good players do good things - that's why you have good players!

From watching the replay that was incredibly poor refereeing on the penalty. How he could be that close to the action and not see Sterjovski blatantly throw out a foot to ankle tap Caira a split second before the handball is beyond me. Petty and inconsistent stuff too like making Moss move the ball 5 yards to the left for a free kick but apparently unable to march a wall back the full 10 yards.
