For the sake of the Sheriff, I'd like to see Williams have a role off the bench and see the Sheriff start. Harsh benching him, but good to blood another option. His only start was when he had Mitch Nichols feeding him. v not fair.

I would definitely like to see Sheridan get more game time. At least half a game. Krishna is sitting on 4 yellow cards, when he has to sit out a game we can't just expect Sheridan to cover the whole 90 min off the back of a bunch of 10 min cameo's.

When you have a player who is in form, I don't think you should drop him as part of an experiment. Keep the run of form going I reckon.

Not like players haven't had to wait for their opportunity before. It will come, he just needs to be ready to step up and grab it. Hopefully he's able to get a few more minutes under his belt this weekend. But I'd thoroughly disagree with dropping Williams.

I wonder how big the crowd will actually be. It should be a great game of football.

Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet

Anyone have any idea of crowd figures for this match?

My idea is that they count them as they pass through the turnstyles. That should give us the best result

Sounds like were going to have a pretty poor crowd.

Ticket sales for the clash have been slow, but a spokesperson for Campbelltown City Council is expecting a significant walk-up crowd on Saturday. A target of 9000 had been set but only around 7000 fans are expected to attend the match

Sydney average Crowd 14.8K Let’s see how many can be bothered to see their team get trashed by us. #COYN

Obviously Welnix would like as big as crowd as possible, but likely they are also getting a nice little cheque from McArthur SW Sydney for bringing a game to Campbelltown. "With funding primarily coming from billionaire property tycoon Lang Walker, the McArthur SW Sydney won't be short on cash."

Of course if Welnix has a cystal ball, and had known how well last Saturday at EP was going to go, could have had consecutive games in Auckland. But Nix owners are entitled to chase as much cash as they can, when Westpac is unavailable.

I'm predicting a pretty sizeable Smurfs win. I agree with el grap that we will be very disappointed by the end of this season.

COYN.

We can take it to Sydney.

Last game Sydney played defensive against us. This time they are under pressure. Pressure to score.

That will open up room and chances for Krishna and Singh

2-1 Nix.

Game on at Eden park tonight, lots of music going on (50,000 for 660), Game would have to be at Mt Smart most likely and I would think most of the 'casuals' from last week wouldn't go twice in a row.

Shame no Taylor, wouldn't be suprised to see a loss here. Seems like some of the magic has worn off over the past 5 or so games.

Failed a late fitness test is what people are hearing. With two weeks until the next game, it makes a lot of sense for us to not risk him.

Unable to watch live at this stage, but will be following the twitter feed. If anyone has a mobile friendly streaming site would be much appreciated! ? Need to look for a win here, just to keep the chasing pack at arms length. COYN!

to be frank I don't want a decent crowd,

Because if there is this is going to become a regular occurance

Next one will be Melbourne

Auckland will rise once more

TAB pays $4.50 to $1 for the Nix win and a $4.33 for a draw.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Permalink Permalink

That's decent odds on a draw.

Let's hope Myfootball get it right this time. They had the live feed vs Melbourne Victory wrong by 24hr so had to find a dodgy steam for it. First time it's happened, so let's hope they fixed the issue
