We will be without Devlin and Payne for this game? Assume Rufer and Fenton slot in. Luxury.

There was talk that they might be able to play some behind closed doors friendlies in the build up. No idea of that will happen tho.

Not a chance, we have rode lady lucky far to long and it will come all crashing down on us with this SFC game. If we do have any luck it will be by going down a goal or 3 on the score board. I'm looking at this game as a training match and not taking it serious just like Talay would.

SFC 3 - 0 Nix.

We will have been celebrating coming out of lock down by dinking lots of beer and will probably lose 4 - 0.

Good to know this may have all gone to shark because the league couldn't get the Vic teams across the border before it shuts...

Or: Ufuk's agent is using the press to make a subtle hint to WPFC to increase his wages

These kinds of articles are pure bullshark designed for leverage in negotiations and have no relevance to anything actually happening. It's like "Kanye running for President", I'm amazed anyone believes it

I've got more faith that Uffie won't do us dirty than I ever did with Rudan. Hopefully he sticks to his word, would hate to have to do another rebuild effort after half our players follow him there.

I think the 'somewhat' might have cursed the return

Why on earth wouldn't they have packed the teams up and moved them a few days ago, and postponed/shifted the venue of the Victoria scheduled games?  It was clear the way it was going in Vic before the weekend.

And is pretty much what every other sports team/franchise in Victoria did, including the AFL, Melbourne Storm, the Rebels, and even the Supercars.

Guess that's the A-league for you.

What a bunch of clowns. It appears the players were on their way to the Melbourne airport with all their luggage then the flight was canceled. Why did the mess around with flying in the first place. It’s only 320 kms to The NSW border at Albury. It’s a freeway, the M31, you can do that trip in well less than 4 hours. If they were packed and ready to go busing to the border was the easiest option.

IMO they will get approval to leave Victoria but it could take a while to get it done through the appropriate channels. Makes the A-league look Mikey mouse.

This would never happen if NZF was in charge.

I don't know, I'd expect traffic jams with thousands of people trying to cross the border before it closed. Flying would seem to be the best option.

After the teams again got turned away trying to leave last night, I still think this is appropriate

Just like last year the coach's impending departure will destabilize the team. The boys will be sluggish after having done their stint of hotel quarantine and being away from family. A 3-0 loss for the Nix.
