Symptom of large part of the squad not living close to their family?

Wellington Phoenix defender Jacob Tratt has returned home" indefinitely" for person reasons, that's that then!

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

Where did it say indefinitely?

It is not definite, is it

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

It said indefinitely in the article, but in the same line said he might return before the end of the year... picking Dyer makes more sense than that gem!

I'd be pissed if we released him and he got signed by another A League club... he has another year on his contract, demand a fee!

Why are people so quick to claim bullshark on "personal reasons"? Blake Powell's reasons for needing to be back in Sydney/NSW were genuine, and signing for CCM meant he could continue playing football, which Ernie encouraged him to do.

I have no idea why Jacob has had to return home, but if it's a parent being terminally ill or similar, who are we to demand that he stays here and plays football?

In the grand scheme of things, football is just a job, and it really doesn't matter at all.

I didn't call it bullshark, just pointed out that this seems to happen more to us than other clubs. Obviously the stress of having a family member who plays for the Nix is far too much for some people.

If McGlinchey is injured, is there a possibility that Hudson will withdraw him from the squad for the Fiji games and recall Kosta? One less player for the Newcastle game.

the problem is personal reasons can mean a number of things these days and is over used.

Apparently if an all black fails a drug test (Tuitipolo) on the last tour then it is standard procedure they have to return home and are told to state personal reasons until the b sample is back and resolved.

If the word family was used at least it would make more sense

Sydney weather is very Wellington right now, perhaps a tad warm but.

Still, Nix won't be basking in the sunshine, unless it's (hopefully) figuratively.

Spain '82 is where it all really began for me. There were a few moments before, plenty of moments after, but that World Cup was the zeitgeist.

Looking terrible early 4 minutes in.  Completely headless at the back so far, giving away possession all over the field.
