Rudan very lucky all his fox mates are going to let him walk away scot free at the end of this - ‘what could he do, it was only the Phoenix’.

Sooo why are we taking our biggest goal scoring threat off when we’re 2 goals down?

Permalink Permalink

Christ, it's so aggravating seeing replays of their goals. They are all so badly defended and that is supposed to be our strength. 8 goals now in less than 3 games?

Why the fudge would we take Krishna off with 20 mins left and down 2 goals?

Agreed, but still the most likely to score.

Had such a great meal just before this game tonight, now I've got massive indigestion. Damn you Phoenix.

Have to say Burns looks (and has done so for the last 25 minutes) rather defeated. Looks like he can't be bothered running around

Also, hate bagging our players but has Nichols been playing for MVC against us he'd have buried both chances tonight

Kurto is our best player, he is quality. I feel bad for him being surrounded by really rubbish defending.

Starting to feel like it could be a long season.

Rudan has less excuse for leaving out Singh than Kalezic, with Singh having shown now he can perform as we all thought.  He has set the team up even more defensively than Herbert and Kalezic ever did, when are the knives going to start to come out?

And has been the case since time immemorial we have free kick takers that will never, ever, ever, EVER score.

My knives are out. One of them is for Greenacre too.

It’s almost like Rudan isn’t a very good coach at this level.

We desperately need some attacking flair and someone to stick some goals in.

Rojas... Ifill... someone in the mould who can make things happen. We look so stifled, robotic and uninventive - MAN it's frustrating.

Starting to think Ricki would get more of a tune out of this team than Rudan is...

This is getting so depressing, Sky might have to start putting Lifeline phone numbers down the bottom of the screen during our matches.

I agree that our attack isn't great but at 1-0 up stout defence could've won us the game. The defending has been a shocking disappointment for me.

If we’re going to play dire hoodball we may as well have just got him back.

Get off this thread and go check when your local Handy Prem team is playing. Get down and show the local game a bit of love instead of this shark!

This is going to be a long frustrating season, we need a out and out striker that will bloody score

At least we kept Doyle quiet for the last 20 minutes.

At least Rudan can hit the target I guess.

I cant believe Rudan took Krishna off .  He wasnt in the game but i think thats more to do with the fact there no sharpe energetic creative midfielders. I think rufer could be holding midfield with two creative midfielders in front(bonevacia type players).  But theres no place for average imports like Maandi Kopchinski who pass once stand and admire. Krishna is our most dangerous player but hes living off scraps. I could see him fitting into many other A league teams.

On a positive note - at the age of 29, that's only Mandi's fourth ever goal for a first team side. Well done!

I thought Roy ran hard, but not smart. I think it was the right call as Max linked well with the other two

Gotta start asking some questions of Rudan, firstly leaving Singh out of the squad completely WTF? then subbing Krishna when he's been at least threatening and you have Burns hanging around on the wing doing sweet fudge all! Utter shambles. We play 5 at the back and yet we conceed 3!!!!

Queenslander 3x a year.

Has to be the worst game that I've attended, felt very lifeless, the stuff at half time, music playing, our lack of game winners, the knob jockeys with the duck whistles. More of the same next game I assume, the DJ might be able to get away with playing music at this rate.

We were all over them in the first half then we conceded the own goal.

As many people walked out with security as goals conceded, so nobody walked out next game and we get a clean sheet?

Burns is a major disappointment. He played so well four seasons ago and now he is just so clueless.
