I was actually just writing that post while they scored. Didn't blame Carlos for the goal. He just doesn't look like he has the usual vision today. And he butchered that free kick.

Muscat, Riera, and Lia are staying too narrow on defence IMO. In a 4-3-1-2 when the opposition attack down the wing the nearest player of that midfield 3 should slide across to provide extra support to the fullback. To be fair though, we haven't played this formation much and they're probably still getting used to the positioning.

Goals come from having a man advantage somewhere and exploiting it with quick ball movement and options that puts defenders in two minds or by beating players and dragging them out of position...Or by Brockie shooting from somewhere...
I think we've looked good moving the ball around in the middle third and in front of the box, havent created much yet and have been a bit of a worry at the back...

I wonder if we will see Ifill in for Carlos. He seemed to be limping towards the end of the game. Hopefully just a knock. Ideally I'd like to see them both on at the same time.
