Fudge the VAR, Fudge the useless A-League officials, we shouldn't be down to 10 here, and it effects the result of the game.  Should have had a (soft) penalty, and then gives the most ridiculous red card I have seen.  Fudge off.

They didnt call pen against Fenton and they gave that red. seems very intentionally against us.

Those couple of runs by Krishna were amazing.

And of course it would've been Lowry marking Castro if he wasn't sent off.

The worst red card I think I have seen - and with the help of tv as well.

The card will be rescinded, but the points are lost as a result. We have played so well and deserve more than the 0 or 1 point we are going to get.

Nick Waldron the VAR is an absolute disgrace. I've seen his attitude at local games and I just knew he wouldn't give the Fenton pen and even though there was no sign of any foul you just knew that prick had found something to pin on us

Definately our best game of the season uptil the red card.

Passed well and made smart runs in behind. But despite that, I won't be able to get over that red for a long time.

Thankyou VAR for that joke, also thankyou ref for not over ruling it.

What’s VAR stand for...Very Average Referee? If I’m the coach on sideline I’m probably picking up the sideline tv screen and smashing it...would love to see that happen actually because this nonsense has to end

The referee/VAR was criminally inconsistent.  How they can call that as a red card I don't know.

That aside, the guys played a great game of football up to that point and showed a lot of character after.  Yes Perth probably took us a bit lightly, but we deserved at least the goal lead.  Didn't always make the right decisions with ten men, but not sure we can expect more than we got from them for effort and attitude.  

Looking forward to Rudan post match.

On a positive note, loving Way's story and happy to see him get out there for his pro debut, looked genuinely nice after the goal too

Deserved a win, and we can be proud. Don't think many of us were expecting to take points off the unbeaten table toppers anyway so being disappointed at just a draw is a good sign

Would love to see a recording of the press conference - I assume Rudan will try unsuccessfully to not tee off.   Is there usually footage out there?

Also - credit to Way for the job he did on Castro for the last 10 mins or so. The tackle on the edge of the box was tasty.

Burns was very good, at times looked 2014ish. The VAR situation is a disgrace. It cost a win tonight. I thought they were going away from literally policing it to the very last syllable but clearly not. AND if that’s the case Davidson’s arm grab and pull on Fenton must be a penalty.  

I've seen footage from most post-match pressers this season, so I'd assume so.

I think he'll be very strong in his words and feelings.

Sadly the VAR controversy will take away the focus from what should be very positive talk of what was a very good Nix performance.

Dura, Taylor, Singh, Burns all excellent. Everyone else very good
