Excellent goal.  Great work for Roy to make the initial break and still be ready after the little fumble.

How good was Krishna there presence of mind to pass it twice instead of going for glory

Think the result is fantastic, but if I have paid good money to travel up from Wellington and saw a pitch like that I would be furious. It is a disgrace, and not worthy of A League. Who is responsible for that. We should never consider Auckland again. The standard of football on this pitch is a joke. It has become a lottery, (apart from the goals) missed passes, poor tackles are a result of the disgraceful state of the pitch.

I am enjoying the score but have to say the standard of football is poor due to the poor conditions.

And agree with most that we should be playing in our colours as it is doing my head in.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

Apparently Roly limped off - might see a chance at half time. Perhaps Rufer?

Hard to argue with that. I'd feel very pissed off if I was a Victory supporter.

However, we've played quite well despite it all.

Apparently people on pitch inspecting it. Possible that the game will be called off. Would be typical. Not sure what's changed in the last 45; should've been called off prior to game. Pitch has been shark for ages.

that would be a big call and not particularly timely with the metrics

Always informed and up to date AD and FDJ mentioned nothing Valeo.

It's only a soccer game, as long as the pitch is good for pwoper sports. That's what matters.

"The FFA decided to allow teams to stay in strip as it was specially commissioned"....cool.  Don't worry about metrics FFA just get the strips right for viewing audience.

Even watching this on a half decent telly it's getting hard to tell who is who.

The pitch and the kit - Surely it's got to be someone's job to sort this sh*t out?

Permalink Permalink

The next logical step is a strip specially designed to exactly match the opponent's to widen our appeal to their fanbase.
