Would have been nice to have Muscat tonight, Lia v de Silva will be an interesting watch.

Knowing the reputation of this young lad, it sounds like Lia will unlikely stretch his new record of going 7 games without a yellow

Although we will miss Carlos on the ball, at least the front 3 should be more suited to pressing the perth back line when they have the ball. Given that they are likely to be a bit nervous this an area I hope we really focus on.

Would be nice to get a win for once. This is probably our best chance to do it, against Perth B.

2:0 for the Nix. I'll believe in Stein to organize everything tidy, as he does it with his hair. Brockie and Ifill both score.

Going for broke with this lineup. Only way to go. Hope Ridenton gets some gametime off the bench. Think we'll win, if we've travelled Ok and energy levels are up. That's my only doubt.

This is a rather strange line up. Not at all confident now.

Think that is how they will line up

Fenton Durante Siggy Caira

           Lia   Riera

Ifill            Stein           Kenny

               Brockie

We could end up looking like we did against WSW at the end, basically a 4-2-4 with nothing in the midfield.

I'm not sure what Manny thought about aqua jogging today either...

We got this.

It will be one of those magical games where the loss of a top player brings out the best in everyone else, knowing they can't leave it all to him. Like when Ifill's injury started a late run that season (don't mention Rojas).

I reserve the right to later add multiple negatives to this post.

2 young fullbacks for Perth - hopefully Ifill and and Richie (Cunningham) can tear them apart.

random points:

* the first couple of minutes of this game is very wide open

* Moss has a nice level of tan

* Vinnie looks taller than I remembered him

Fenton's attempted header - ha ha
