Odds are on Skilled Park, now Suncorp is toast.

I'm still going to Brisbane that week, so will train/bus it down to Robina if I can't get a ride, if the FFA confirms the game there on MondayArd Righ2011-01-15 13:36:08

Train would be the go... would be a shame if you miss out on the cocky races at the Story Bridge Hotel tho... always an awesome day!

Can't they change the bloody date? One day playing a game vs Perth Glory, the next day traveling (probably at like, 4 in the morning), and then the next day playing the Brisbane Roar. Not fair, the FFA needs to consider when our A-League games are!

would only get the AT if coming straight from the airport; otherwise get std Goldy svce - will be cheaper and just as "quick".

OK sweet, I'll be close to Roma St station, so will check out the train info when I get over there.

Would that also cover getting to GCU game on 22nd? :)

Let's face it, we are not going to get anything from the Roar anyway. Although I guess goal difference could be a factor at the end of the season.

If it wasn't for goal difference I'd consider sending over a team of:
                    Crowther
      Hearfield    Musa    Siggy  Lochhead
Lia   Toto Ifill (just let him sit there)  Diego
Pavlovic  Paston (just sits there also)

and leave the rest of them at home for a bit of a rest.  Talk about inconvenient.

I wonder if any of those go ahead people in Auckland have thought of hosting the game for Brisbane.
Gives them a Phoenix game to show their worth, fits better with our travel and might win some more fans for the Roar with people who are thinking of going to Brsbane for a better climate.

Auckland does not deserve an Aleague match. They blew their chance.

ah, what have you been smoking dude? Brisbane aren't giving up home advantage. Wellington already offered to host the fixture, what makes you think they would turn around and ask Auckland to host it?

Roar fans will travel to Robina. Cheaper than travelling to Auckland.

If previous replies to my comments are anything to go by, free train ride from Brisbane to Robina.

Odds are they'd get as big as, or bigger than, crowd we'd get at RoF on a week night IMO.

I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if a Roar match held at Skilled would outdraw anything GCU has ever managed.

Brisbane Roars match against Wellington Phoenix postponed due to flooding at Suncorp Stadium has been re-scheduled to be played on Wednesday, 26 January 2011 at Skilled Park in Robina.

To accommodate this re-scheduled fixture, the Brisbane Roar match against Melbourne Heart has been re-scheduled from Friday, 28 January 2011 and will now be played the following day on Saturday, 29 January 2011, also at Skilled Park.

Week 23 Re-scheduled Fixture

Well, I am going to the game now, so they better field a decent team :|

Will also attempt to make it down to GCU for their game vs Jets, give Smeltz a rev-up in my All Whites shirt, ask him to bag a dozen for us :PArd Righ2011-01-19 15:00:57

Won't it be embarrassing if our game gets more fans than the usual Gold Coast matches?
