mmm unfortunately I was not so tactile as you tigers.  Dompost approached me also as someone that hasn't received their ticket and I spoke to them about the situation.  I know that Tony P is doing everything he can to sort this out and fully support him on this but sometimes the cleaver gets the message across better than the scalpel.

I didn't call the club out on anything and stressed how much help Tony has been, trying to mainly highlight the continued issues with ticketek regarding things like them not being able to change our addresses when we renew memberships and sending all the tickets to Lower Hutt.

Sorry if this wasn't politically correct but its now week two and I'm not the only one sitting here wondering whether my season pass is lost in the post or has been swiped by someone with a fortunate address.

it's a democracy Nickel (well, i think YF is , not so sure about the country), no way am i gonna tell a fellow fan who to speak to

i was just punting up my response

hope the media guy represents your views accurately

Wasn't in today's paper it seems but its hardly 'breaking news' I guess.

Ticketek did seem to be sending another batch yesterday and it seems I just got the "next Friday" treatment because I followed up Monday afternoon.  So I guess I'm in next Monday's batch to be due next Friday.

Cheers SiNZ,

Got a call from Tamara yesterday, mine was addressed to
Pukerua Beach Road,
Seatoun,
Lower Hutt.

The pack was returned to sender - Which 'cause it came in a flash Phoenix envelope wasn't Tiketwat.

She laughed when she told me the address, I did too and then cried.
If only Ticketwat had told me the address it went too when I rang and abused them Saturday.

Lonegunman - With a name like that cause they were nice to you.
Did you get Dibble07 one as well?

The ticket is are in my hand now, next year I am ordering the ticket in February - just after we win the final.

Shame on you DomPost, are you a sponsor or a foe?

Good luck to the rest of you who are still waiting,

Except you won't be able to until about June. Whilst it is not strictly necessary to have the fixtures decided before selling season tickets, the A-League expansion will need to be resolved so we know how many games there are and how much to charge for season tickets.

Anyway, it's not the order placement side that is problem. All orders received prior to 31 July were processed together and then "apparently" despatched on 8 August. With incorrect addresses.

I would suggest that what needs to change is that the season ticket printing is executed in more batches. This would allow orders received by 30 June to be done first. Then you can do the orders prior to 31 July. And so on. At least do renewing season tickets first.

It might be a little more costly, but it provides for greater contingency on following up with problems. Given the failure rate, some basic risk management procedures need to be built in to the process. How much time and money have the Nix expended on dealing with problems created by leaving it all to the last minute and then cocking it up? Surely more cost than would have been incurred by separating into more batches.

Just had an email from my daughter in Wellington (I'm back overseas). More season tickets have arrived. Possibly even all of them.

Addressed to Lower Hutt instead of Wadestown. Someone had crossed the Lower Hutt out and written, "Try WGTN" on all the envelopes. That indicates that the postcode doesn't do much, despite being correctly included.

They are comp tickets, so she probably got given/won them somehow and didn't want them.

Called the phoenix line again and again spoke to Shelley - she noted that my address is now correct but the reason I was chasing them up today wasn't my season pass, I'm resigned to that arriving late NEXT week... but my benchwarmer.

I got a call on Tuesday from a lady at the Phoenix who said that the benchwarmers are couriered out, and mine had been couriered to my old address.  I went around there yesterday to see what I could find and all I got was (potentially feigned) ignorance from the people who now live there.  I got this lady's number off Shelley and gave her a call, she said that she'd follow up with the courier company (as it was a confirmed delivery) and that she'd deliver me a new one right to my work on Lambton Quay tomorrow morning!

So after wondering whether my extra $100 was going to be worn about someone elses' neck I'm now getting a replacement BW pack delivered right to my door... or my work's door which is even better.

A couple of weeks ago on Target (not my favourite program) they show how a courier post driver in wellington signed his own name to packages and never checked if the person getting the parcel was the intended recipient. The only courier company's I TRUST are UPS or DHL

man if only there was a "sweep it under the rug" emoticon, because i don't think jack sh!t will change, they're just waiting to ride this out,you know get the passes out and hope people forget about the shambles, by virtue of great on field performances from the team.
if they didn't learn from last year, what makes you think there going to learn from this year.

Dont go holding your breath for any answer, very disappointed that the club have left many just hanging on any decent sort of response. It seems far to easy just to lay the blame at ticketecs door.I thought the club employed a membership manager and yet have we heard anything from that person. Seasons under way so guess they are hoping it will all just slide on by.

unlike you GF, I don't really see Tony P. hand delivering them as quite the ideal solution
