My wife and I are (supposedly) phoenix members (again!) We didn't get season passes last year till 2 weeks into season despite ordering the passes two months prior.

Again we have had the wristbands for some time but again no passes. Rang ticketek twice no answer got an answer phone and left messages with three contact phone numbers and my address. Still waiting

Totally p#### off.

It's now Saturday and unless the post is really late today or NZ Post decide to do a Sunday delivery, we still don't have our season passes. Ordered on June 9, payment taken June 11. We were supposed to believe all four posted on August 8.... yeah right.

The only bright spot is that Masters One football is cancelled today. What was a day of rushing around to get all my stuff done (before even trying to find time to pick up paper tickets) is now relatively relaxed with plenty of time to pick up paper tickets. Ticketek might not want us to go to the game, but at least the good old Wellington wet winter weather does.

Except I'm back in Sydney on Monday, so will instead spend a week emailing Sharon every evening asking whether they have arrived yet.

They all say Lower Hutt. The only season ticket we received said Lower Hutt instead of Wadestown. According to www.smaps.co.nz our street name does not exist anywhere in the Wellington region except in Wadestown, so I guess that's how it made it through. Either that or the correct post code meant the suburb was irrelevant.

Lucky I know the Phoenix Ticketing lady, she sorted me out some paper tickets for the game.

I was getting worried.

got my tickets, my packs etc. etc. bu I'm still very worried that the only supplier of phoenix tickets is this bunch of retards called ticketek, this is so stupidly unacceptable it makes me want to laugh, but I'm to pissed off to do so. Someone needs to get the CEO of ticketek and give him a piece of us phoenix supporters minds, and a hearty knee to the balls.
If this hapens again next season what are we going to do to sort it out, as it reflects really badly on the nix and tickitek obviously don't seem to care how badly they screw us up as long as we are giving themour credit card details and waiting around like twats for our stuffed up passses
You know we belong together...

Well now I know my season ticket are probably somewhere in Lower Hutt, only trouble is I'm in Johnsonville.

I remember last year when the club tried to make out only people who booked late were having problems, seems they're starting to run the same line again.

Pretty clear from this thread that Ticketek has stuffed up the addresses and tickets may take weeks to arrive, if they ever arrive at all.

I look forward to Tony P putting things right by delivering my season tickets by hand.

Went to get a paper ticket for the first game, the Phoenix store told me I had to get it at the stadium so I tried Ticketek and they printed out a little slip with my details on it to give to the stadium ticket booths... and it had last year's address on it.

This is a freaking shambles, am I ever going to get my season ticket?  How is the benchwarmer membership sent out?  That better not also be sent to the wrong address...  Here I am trying to support the Phoenix and Ticketek can't figure out how to change my address on their own system.

Yep Nickel, it's a bigger balls-up than Dunkirk

I await with interest the club's/Tony's response on here following Monday's meeting with Ticketek,

I expect we will need some very clear evidence of an intent (and ability) to change - probably with some specific details as to what will be done differently, before our confidence is restored

oh yeah... and WE STILL NEED OUR PASSES  !! (let's not forget that wee detail, shall we ?)

Hopefully something can be sorted in this meeting with Ticketek today, but there are still a lot of us without passes and that certainly needs to be addressed before looking at streamlining next year.

Once bitten, twice shy.... twice bitten, ....?

--edit--
Just had a suggestion from a friend - can the season passes that still haven't arrived be sent to the Phoenix store to pick up?  At least then we'll have a definitive ETA and guaranteed delivery.

Tony P,

I have received a PM from someone from the Dom Post asking if i wanted to discuss the season ticket issue. I will decline.

In my view this is a matter between the fans and the club.

Please keep us informed a) with progress on this season's delivery and b) the steps that will be taken to ensure adequate performance next year.

Thanks

Well said tigers,

I'm a little confused about this,
is the number 384 2457 a Phoenix club number or a Ticketek number?

I rang Ticketek Saturday becuase I was advised by the Phoenix club:

Ticketek will issue an update to all today explaining the process if your pass has not arrived by Friday night.  Ticketek will contact these members individually and explain where and how to get your game ticket. Unfortunately we cannot control this. If you would like to call Ticketek direct their number is 384 2457.

I suppose cause I rang Wednesday, Thursday and Friday they didn't bother contacting me.

Also note NZ Post is having a go slow, so any mail not correctly addressed is being left until last.
Gotta love the unions.

Dom Post!!! Wouldn't wipe my arse with the DOM post.

Hope that doesn't offend anyone,

mmm unfortunately I was not so tactile as you tigers.  Dompost approached me also as someone that hasn't received their ticket and I spoke to them about the situation.  I know that Tony P is doing everything he can to sort this out and fully support him on this but sometimes the cleaver gets the message across better than the scalpel.

I didn't call the club out on anything and stressed how much help Tony has been, trying to mainly highlight the continued issues with ticketek regarding things like them not being able to change our addresses when we renew memberships and sending all the tickets to Lower Hutt.

Sorry if this wasn't politically correct but its now week two and I'm not the only one sitting here wondering whether my season pass is lost in the post or has been swiped by someone with a fortunate address.

--edit--
Also called the phoenix ticket line back, they still had my old address listed.  So twice now I've told Ticketek my new address and the change has not stuck - once when I renewed my ticket, and again when I told the lady in the Ticketek office my new address.  After explaining my situation the lady changed my details (third time lucky?) and confirmed that the change was successful.  She also said that since I can't contact my previous address they will return and reissue my season pass, as part of the batch being sent today.

She said that it should arrive either this week or next week but will issue me a paper ticket to the next game anyway.  Enquired regarding my benchwarmer membership and she said she didn't know how that was sent out but would investigate and call me back.

So anyone that is having address difficulties still you'd better give the phoenix line a call and make sure your address is updated, I -should- now be sorted for my season pass anyway.

Second year in a row I ordered a pass before the season started and had to enter the first two games with paper tickets.

Have any of you others done the telephone ordering? I just ordered my own season ticket and spoke with a lady called Shelly. She was bloody good. I pretty much got the seat I was after, rather than online where it's a lottery. I'm getting my paper ticket for next sunday e-mailed to me - It just arrived (less than 5 minutes after my phone call), My pass should arrive next week etc.

I appreciate there have been some serious issues with others, I just hope my own situation carries on this smoothly. A ray of hope for others?

This is the bit where it goes wrong. Whilst the website was a wee flakey, I got my requested seats all sorted over the phone back in June and my paper tickets all matched the expected seat assignments. So not really a ray of hope - more of a welcome to the waiting game!

They were going to contact only those that ordered after 31 July, as they knew those wouldn't arrive in time. They expected those of us who ordered before then to have received the tickets. If you ordered after 31 July, then they should have contacted you - though as you say, they may have already noted against your account that a conversation had already been made.

If you ordered before 31 July, they would not have contacted you as they can't know which members to ring. Hence, those of us in that situation had to go to them.

Anyway, here we go with round 2....

Whilst my tickets were delayed, they came to the right address, which we changed from last season. My only issue is the length of time it takes to get the tickets to the fans, they have to be delivered at least 2 weeks before the first game! Especially if they are ordered 6 weeks before the season even starts.

I renewed my pass over the phone right back at the start when only renewals were possible... they seemed helpful enough over the phone then (and always have) however I'm now awaiting a paper ticket for the second game also.

Whilst on the phone ordering my ticket, Shelly asked me where I'd like to pick my paper ticket up from or would I like it e-mailed. Whilst typing my first message on here, my paper ticket did indeed arrive via e-mail and I've printed it off. Comes in a pdf format. So that took about ten minutes from my phone call to receiving my paper (Temp all be it) ticket. Thanks Shelly!

Ticketek called me back at around 4:20pm this arvo, said that my season ticket should arrive "by next Friday" and my benchwarmer addon will take "a couple of weeks".  Have a paper ticket sorted for the next game though so as long as they're sent to the right address this time...
