What we were talking about is the renewal form Whitby. There is no box to tick for Snr Cit nor any mention. It is available though - just not sure what you are supposed to do on the form.

True - it should be included / clear on the form - I would renew over the phone if it's anything but straight forward e.g. issues with a senior renewal.

Important thing though is that it is available and the club does seem to have got its sh*t together with the ticketing - this issue aside.

Dropping the seniors concession for new members has me completely stumped / angry - why would you do that ?

How is that a good idea for a family orientated club ?

He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

Interestingly also not included on the form is the $8.50 transaction fee which you get stung with over the internet or by phone.

I rang them to confirm this and apparently you WILL get charged an additional $8.50 if you use the form to renew also.. So those of you expecting to pay $225 will find it is actually $233.50.

I guess you would have a legal argument about not paying the $8.50 if you renewed via the renewal membership form though, as nowhere on the form does it mention it. (not on the form I got posted anyway).

Monday got off to a great start....got all excited about renewing my sason ticket...until I made the fatal mistake of phoning it in...what I though would take a couple of minute seemed to take about half an hour as the person I spoke to seemed to keep me on hold several times...eventualy managed to renew  including the  the  'fee' for having the priviledge of doing so...and now wait with baited breath to see if the tickets arrive in time for the start of the season...seems nothing ha changed in the organisation from last year

Yes well I made the mistake of ringing in too, and after they got stuck they offered to ring me back, but of course never did. Finally got it done second call, same old Ticketek.

Now all this talk of prices and recession. My mortgage repayments are down because of interest rate reductions, my income is up through tax cuts, and cost of petrol is way less than it was.

Trip to Christchurch sucks the big one, what next New Zealand Phoenix?
