dont bother this week i rang up ticketek this morning and they said that i could get my ticket and friend of mine and i went and were told that phoenx tickets are still not on their computers, ill get mine in a week im sure by then they'll have their act together but im going to try and avoid paying the service fee as there was none

has anyone got the package with the ticket or will they geve them to us on the first matchday????
i think it said somewhere the packs would be sent out on august 4th..not sure though

did anyone buy more than one ticket?i did but they would only let us have the cardholders name on the tickets.just wondering if that will cause any problems with the whole "this ticket is not transferrable" thing?

hay guys,
got my season pass yesterday. Asked to be seated at the End (not the middle part) and told them I wanted to be with the Yellow Fever ppl...also, asked to uncovered seats.
Lets make sure we sing a lot so we can keep warm.

Unfortunetely the greeks wont be sitting with yellow fever as we have an olympic aisle next to the gold ticket zone on the right side. This means about 20 of us young ones who were gnna be with you guyes will have our own chanting group however this should be good as we can possibly make some chants where we chant together around the stadium. Looking forward to it.

Man, chill out WPFC! I reckon it's cool if clubs do their own thing. It will only add to the colour in the ground and I don't think it's being disloyal to the PHOENIX to sit with your clubmates in the off season.

i dont think its cool haveing a "greek only" area thats f**king apartheid sh*t man, we are all kiwis (well those of us who live here are)and better yet we are from wellington this is our team and our house....but whatever if those of you without greek heritage dont mind it then fine .

i think if they want to have a chanting group we should be next to each other not on opposite sides of the stadium, strength in numbers

You like to blow sh*t out of proportion don't you. We aren't sitting in a "greek-only" zone, in fact if you weren't so ignorant you would know that any member of the public can buy a seat in the area near the halfway line at the stadium.

Some Yellow Fever supporters want to sit in the YF zone, some of us who happen to be Greek want to sit near halfway. We are planning on chanting and supporting our team just as much as those in the YF zone, so don't go comparing us to the apartheid.

And you would be surprised at how impressive several chanting groups sound. Look at this example at a Melbourne Victory match: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLqnJJ63kV4 (references: youtube and Pavlos).

200 tickets already more than the knights over two seasons...

Shows how poorly supported they were, surely in a population the size of Auckland you'd could get more, perhapes also it was the marketing of them - something from what i'm hearing the nix are getting right.

Quite the opposite  - we'd spend $180 for a season pass to spend 90mins every other week standing at the bar!!!

When Hibs, went up, to win the Scottish Cup - I wisnae there - furfuxake!

Shouldn't that be " We'd borrow $180......."

BTW, saw all the goodies that are being given away with the season tickets. Any word on when, and if, this stuff will go on sale to poor unfortunates like myself who had to move away from Welly 'cos they were stupid enough to get jobs in JAFA land

No need for a  designated Ginga Zone.  They are naturally outcast by society and will form their own 'niche' area where ever they want - naturally within earshot of the linesman or from the comfort of their own homes after their wives/partners have given them a time out for firing up at the cat for meowing in the wrong tone.  Anyone attempting to join them will fall victim of 'crimson glory', so please approach with caution

What about about if you're ginger and Scottish - one and the same zone then! ;)

Tis true eejit.  As Scotts do have a disproportionate ratio of gingers to non-gingers (I would guess around 0.3:1), maybe they should be band from the stadium.

Somebody please think of the children!!

The scottish gingers will prevail over the rest in their chants.  They may set fire to everyone. be aware.

When i was talking to the woman on the telephone while sortin out my seats, she said merchandise was very close and she has had a lot of people asking about it and was going to try and get someone to put a note about it on the Phoenix site.

Feverish: I will guard everyones banners with my life! We have to have some imaginative slogans like "Wellington = Rio de Janiero's sister city" or something like that....I need to think more, lol.

Sister city haha, I am living in Rio at the mo and its more like the naughty older sister that always sneaks out at night to be with her bad-ass boyfriend haha.

Viva a febre amarela!! And feverish can you make sure if you use portuguese on the website that its right....ie "vindo no fenix" doesnt make sense, coming at the/on the phoenix haha, should be "Indo ao fenix" or something very close :)

Botafogo - Rio de Janeiro and Wellington Phoenix, my two teams til death do us part.

Hey guys,

Best of luck in your upcoming inaugural season. We're certainly enjoying ours here in Toronto!

Just a word to the wise. . . If you're debating about whether or not to get season tickets, a good number of people did the same here for Toronto FC's first season, and man are they regretting it now! They thought, oh, it'll be fine, I'll get my tickets later, and then they all sold out and now they're scrambling each game for a ticket, and there's a two year waiting list for season's tickets. Not sure that the same situation applies to you there, but you never know, many of us certainly didn't expect it to be like this here in Toronto! So if you're planning on be a supporter, get the season tickets ASAP. That's my advice.

Again, best of luck!

Cheers,
