I'd say probably not. But they'll send you a paper ticket to print off for Sunday. That's what happened to me Season 1.

They will be able to email you a ezyTicket for Sunday no worries.

So go get one now!

Until 5pm Friday 11 October:
Ring the Ticketek Premium Products Phoenix Hotline on 04 384 2457 or email phoenix@ticketek.co.nz.

I'm trying to work out this 20% discount for friends tickets thing. Is it just a case of calling the Phoenix Hotline or am I missing a key piece of information that will let me do it online?

I imagine you'd have to ring up and give your membership number? Else it could be too easily exploited online.

They always have a box for promo code try your membership number in their - if it does not work then you know the phone is the only way.  Sign in as a member first. Tried Both neither work.

The Wellington Phoenix are flying high both on and off the field with the 2013/14 Hyundai A-League season only three days away and a record 3470 loyal fans signing up to support the team.

The bar for the season was set early with record first day sales in July and the excitement hasn’t waned. The final three days of the pre-season will see numbers pass the Club’s previous record tally of 3,464 in season 2008/09.

Both times we were coming off the spoon too.

Now's the time for Fruglo to tell us why he didn't renew. Protest against Albert Reira?

It confused the hell out of me too. The website PROMO code box doesnt accept your Membership Number.

I phoned ticketek and they said you have book the 20% discount via them, which I did.

This was not made clear in the correspondence that came from the Phoenix.

Got my 20% discount tickets for workmates this morning. Pleasantly suprised that there is no limit to the amount of discount tickets you can get, as I purchased 12 extras. Majority of those are first timers so should be a good day. Fire up!

Well done Fitzy, that is exactly the type of support the club, the team and your fellow fans need. To be seeing more numbers at games.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

No issues for me. Straight in. Also i didnt notice a massive queue of people either like the article suggests. More shit journalism from Stuff no doubt

On another note, finally got around to getting the membership pack (from Aisle 23), they gave me 3 of them. Guess they were just wanting to get rid of all the extra stock.

After misplacing my season pass, I went to the gate at the stadium at 2pm on Sunday to sort out a replacement ticket. They printed one out for me, no worries.

Got back to the gate at 4.45, scan ticket, and the machine says "Access denied". The forced me to line up on the long ticket lines that I specifically tried to avoid by going to the stadium early, just so the ticket lady could tell her supervisor to scan their card to let me in. The fact that Red Badge man the ticket gates but can't do anything to fix problems without Ticketek is frustrating as hell.

FFS.

Just one worry, the barcode on my season pass looks a bit whack. This was how it arrived. Hope it's not going to fail in the scanner at the stadium. Hopefully common sense will prevail with security if it does. Does anyone else's look like this?

Does anyone know what the problem was? Could it be due to this? I didn't get to the game on Sunday so never got to test my new season ticket. Will be there on 1 December though. Looks like I better get there early.

could be part of the problem, mine scanned fine but the barcode is in tact

Queenslander 3x a year.

I dont see how that would be an issue. Only if the barcode was damaged from top to bottom preventing a complete line being scanned from it.

You also may want to take that down - every chance someone could print it off and beat you through the gates for the rest of the season !!

My ticket and my son's ticket did not scan properly. We don't know if the other three tickets in our group work because at that point we had to go and queue up before being swiped through.
The quote about only 20 people being given paper tickets isn't the full picture because people like us were just swiped through after having to queue up.

I got to the game pretty early with no issue using a foundation pass, I wonder if its an issue around the barcodes being the same on some tickets and thus the first people got in but the rest were denied?

over 12 years ago · edited over 12 years ago · History

Need to get your facts right NUFC.

Ticketek don't actually print the cards.

Did anyone use the buses on Sunday?

Our foundation passes didn't work, but I suspect its only a small amount, not 100s.  The guy who took my details when I got my paper ticket only had 3 people on his list.

He didn't actually say they did, he just said they were from ticketek, which they were.

I got an email today saying my members pass was produced in the same batch as the ones that didnt work.

Didn't have any problems with mine though.
