No doubt there's a repeat of some gripping match of tiddlywinks scheduled...
or they managed to get enough kayakers together somewhere in the world to film them then show us umpteen times how good it really is...really.

Improving,,on the up, a work in progress from Italiano and the Nix. Bring on the bathroom bling in '24! COYN!

Well, if I can get the Baseball coverage through MLB.com to watch, then I guess I'll get rid of Sky channels next month at this rate.

Seems that Man Utd game is getting shown an hour late because of cricket, tennis, and...cricket again! New Zealand are not involved in any of the cricket games either.

Just to reiterate the ridiculousness of this...

Perth v Gold Coast is on live right now....and there's a replayed EPL game on Sky Sport 3.

If you're going to show a football match, and you had the choice between a live one and a replayed one, why would you show the replayed one?

Why?

Very stupid. Can't imagine this happening in any other country in the world.

Probably because there are more Liverpool fans in NZ vs Perth or GCU fans.

Oh I agree. I doubt Sky look it from a view of "Live A League where NZ have a direct interest vs replay of EPL which would probably have a larger audience base"

For us here on YF, the A League argument is probably more valid but I am sure the Liverpool/EPL fanbase in NZ is larger thus probably how Sky is thinking.

I don't agree with it, but can understand the thinking.

Yes but the has already been on.  People interested in the game should have taped the live version.

Liverpool game was not shown live, was on at the same time as Man City v Arsenal.

Wrong.

How exactly does this happen in Australia when all of us quite clearly know that the Gold Coast game and every other A-League game is shown in Austraila live?

In the US, I would also doubt they would show an EPL delayed game in favour of an MLS live game.

Canada - no idea, doesn't even have a football league that I know of so strange example to use.

classic example of why we get the EPL over a-league in this country occurred at the kings on sunday arvo, sitting there watching the live sport I think it was manawatu v auckland and the junior warriors, at least 5 people came in and asked them to turn off one of the live games to watch the man city v arsenal replay - they then came back and asked again during the nix game!!!!  this is why sky prefer to play the EPL delayed over a-league games.....more expat poms supporting their footy than kiwis supporting it.

Queenslander 3x a year.

I can't understand why these expats don't support Phoenix. We can talk all we want about the quality etc but at the end of the day it's going along to watch live football! I miss that from home, and I get my fix supporting Phoenix, simple really. I still watch a lot of Hibs games online so it's not like you have to give up your 'real' team!

Gold Coast game is on, they're up to the 60th minute. Smeltz might be scoring but their defence looks vulnerable.

Channel 31 Sky 2. The programmes got all messed up with the Live Tennis going on longer than they expected.

Only 11% of NZers find polygamy morally acceptable, must relate to football teams as well.
