I have spoken with Security and they will enforce that people sit in their right seat for our next home game and our remaining ones.
I dont want to make this a big issue but we need to ensure that the behaviour in the YF zone is improved. The minority as usual are spoiling it for everyone.
Security will ensure that fans sit in their right seats. Not sure if it was just the CCM match but we have been swamped with emails from people who like to sit in the YF zone, getting beer poured over them, people sitting in their seats etc....
We have one of the best supporter groups in the A League who are great to watch and listen to. Let's not tarnish that reputation.

A mistake.
At the CCM game there where nearly 2 rows of people in my row,
and during the game the guy beside me changed about 5 times, i can
tell you that whilst i knew a lot of the people in my row, that
isn't where there tickets where, but someone else was in there
seats, and the people in there seats where there because some one
else was in there seats. Its and endless game of musical chairs.
The fever zone was overcrowded on Sunday. I personally don't mind
being in a full row, but when its 2 people deep, with some people
barely able to stand (you know who you are
) It
detracts from the football, which is ultimately my reason for being
there, not the drinking, not the singing or chanting(although i
chant myself hoarse every game), but watching a game of football,
and supporting my team.
A mistake.

A dog with a bone :)
Very disappointed if that is the type of overreaction we get.Can you imagine them doing the same for the sevens.
GET YOUR SHIRTS OFF FOR THE BOYS

A small town in Europe........looking to bounce straight back up....well that aint going to happen
I am sure the "SIT" reference isn't literal, he basically means to make sure people are standing in there allotted space and not cramming in like battery hens.

I say tackle him in the face.

You need to take into consideration the fact that maybe his friend didn't have enough money at the time to buy a season ticket, or they became friends after he bought his season ticket, or his friend only recently started liking football. It has nothing to do with organisation and he has every right to moan. If I lived up in Wellington I'd be moaning.
This is a big mistake Tony P.

For what it's worth, while I think this was to be expected, I think it addresses the wrong problem.
Having a relaxed approach to who sits where doesn't seemed to have caused problems. Letting people in drunk, or letting them get so drunk that they're out of control, has been the issue.
I suspect that forcing people into the allocated seats will deplete the Feverzone, and that may have a downward spiral effect on crowd volume and, ultimately, numbers.
I think it would have been better to address the drunkeness first, and only if that didn't sort things out force the issue on allocated seating.
But we've only ourselves to blame/commend, depending on your point of view.

I agree that over drinking by some (and/or small brains and arrogance) is the real issue but it won't be addressed because of the almighty dollar!
However, next season the solution is obvious get sorted early, get in front of a ticketek human and demand they 'sit' you and your mates together in the YF zone and get proof of their competence (o.k. - that's the trickty bit) before handing over your visa etc.
One person threw a bottle. This person could just as easily have been in his (or her) Season ticket seat. Emotive crap like "those people that come into the YF zone to be hooligans" helps no one.
Please, think before you post.
If he has his season ticket and his friends don't have a season ticket then he can't sit with his friends (depending, obviously, on how stringent they are on policing who sits in their allocated seat.
