So no Dani Sanchez out on the left this year....Totori bench
at best.......Fenton ? might leave him short of an U21 Contract in
preference to Rowe?
Will be very interesting to see how we line up. I would rather a 433 with who we have. with muscat not playing RB that is.

But a 442 could be the best way to not isolate our new front man, but for me that would mean not playing Sanchez as I would want both my CMs being quite strong defensively

yeah I would always have smith and muscat as the base of the midfield. Then the arrangement of the 4 in front of them can change if needed.
Either sanchez plays behind a striker, or we play two up top - not both in my eyes
I'd rather have Smith on instead of Totori. Prefer to see

agreed- thats how i would do it. Bench can simply be Totori, Lia, Boxall and Paston to cover all positions.
Would love to see Lindsay & Fenton getting on the bench as well.
I thought I read on here that in India the Phoenix really picked
up whenever Totori wasn't on the pitch.
So stoked with this guy. Talking to other fans, we really look to have got a guy who ticks every box in what we wanted.
If wehad to describe the perfect type of striker we wanted, he would be:
- Tall enough to attack crosses
- Strong enough to hold off challenges in this league
- Technically good to be able to beat the first man to open up space
- Fast enough to make space
From the videos I have seen of him, he looks to tick every
box.
He also has that swag and confidence about him that every
striker needs. If he walks onto the pitch thinking he is gonna
score a bucketload, then thats the confidence we need.

Yep, I think this is the most likely way we'll line up.

Why? Better pedigree than van Dijk and Berisha, and they've
been both top scorers in the A-league. Certainly better pedigree
than Greenacre, the man he's basically replacing.
