Plays for Stop Out, and he's better than Tim Brown. Who is minging. Allegedly.

Also the phoenix need to get rid of Paston and Warner because they're mingin. Imray and Basalaj are far better keepers

so you'd pretty muc replace all the current nix players with ASB prem players right? proving that you have little to no footballing knowledge and should be ignored or better banned completely.

Plays in goal too....is way better than Pasty and Warner who are both even more mingin than Brown , but his best position is Left Back and that is also lucky coz Lochy is the mingiest minging minger of them all

Yeah it sure is. From left: Warner, Paston, Bertos, Brown. Don't know where Lochhead is...

So how many people wish he was in the middle of our pitch now?

I've always been in the "we'll miss Brownie" camp, Brown >>>>>>>>>>>> Lia, he added heaps to the organisation and stability in the mids, regardless of how many times he supposedly went missing.

This is why I don't cotton to the SACK RICKI mob. A year ago these same voices were the BROWN IS INVISIBLE AND USELESS mob. And look what happened. You never miss the water till the well runs dry.

lol at 'these same voices'. Brown vs. Ricki completely different scenarios.

Permalink Permalink

I guess there would be some overlap between the people who thought Brown did nothing and who think Ricki should be sacked, but I'm sure there are an equally as many people who were in just one camp or the other.

But the Tim Brown problem isn't the fact he's gone, it's the fact we never signed a suitable replacement.

I was one of Brown's biggest critics (still am). I fail to see how 1 player, especially one that lacks the required first touch and passing ability of a HAL league midfielder, would have made much difference this season. If we could accommodate him as a nominal AM with two midfielders doing the work behind him he may have gotten on the end of a cross or two - at best.

See I think he is the missing bridge between Manny and that Cernak/Sanchez role. Brownie was never an attacking midfielder. He just got up and down the park bloody well and was fit as fuckery. He committed himself to the tackle but there is no way that it would be as holey in that middle as it if now than if he was there.
Luis Garcia  you say its more we did not sign a suitable replacement. That is true too but if Brown was that shit in the first place (and started all games) then surely he would not be missed and ANYONE would have been an improvement? It goes to show how much work that was done that most of the ignorant just never took notice of (and also found time to slot some goals)

That's like saying Muscat is worse than Brown because he's playing badly. I think he's a better player, even though we're doing worse than when we had Brown in the team. Brown was part of a team that gave a fuck.

I reckon we miss him more off the pitch than on it.

He was Phoenix through and through. He simply would not have let some of the fuckery going on away from the pitch happen.

Actually, wouldn't mind seeing Brown on the board or even replacing Domey...
Yeah I was only joking, but once Brown has finished his management degree I would love to seem him come and work for the Nix in the backroom. If he had as much influence on the One Shot for Glory campaign as we are led to believe, then he could possibly do a fantastic job back here.

I heard that when Tim Brown got injured, he actually coached the team at the world cup and not Ricki.
