Yes but it's gonna be late tonight - it's very long and I haven't had time to edit it all properly.

Meanwhile, another Football Fern announces they are quitting the Ferns, Chris Wood's still on fire and we are right in the swing of Central League and W-League.

"Dear Podcast, I never believed anything I heard on you until recently I had an experience I wish to share with the other Listeners. About 6 months ago after sharing 5 spliffs and a dozen budweisers with a friend we met two...." And I can remember everything that was said verbatum.
Ooops sorry, this was adjusted from the beginning of every forum letter ever written from 1978 -1980. ;)

Dear podcast, I wait for you every week. I download you. I listen to you. I get interrupted. I try and remember where on the continuum line I was when I was interrupted. I inevitably have to relisten to the bits when I underestimated, over and over sometimes. I love the Phoenix bits. I quite enjoy the other bits. I listen out for the "....brings you"s at the end of the recording. I smile.
Thanks Poddies!

Bit of a different kind of #PhoenixCity this week, out now at http://yellowfever.co.nz/podcasts.
We forgot a cable and couldn't record an actual pod, so we've put together a bunch of stuff that got left on the cutting room floor into a special episode. This is entirely uncensored, so there is swearing. Enjoy.

God we talk some nonsense!
"He's operating a turnstile down the left flank"
This weeks pod gave me some good chuckles thanks gents.
Out of curisotiy did it take more work to cut all of these together than a normal pod where you just need to edit a long sound file?
Also I chuckled at the "non-professional" comments. Having less banter and nonsense wouldnt make you more pro, just less fun.
I'd say you guys do a pro job anyway, or at least the sound quality is pro and your pretty damn reliable with content releases. So for a non-paid pod, thanks, and great work!
It took soooooooooooo much more work to put that episode together. Much easier editing a normal episode, as I just go through and take it the sharkty bits, but everything goes together chronologically.
This one, I had to go through old episode recordings, find bits that were relatively amusing, put them into one file together and then put them in an order that made sense.
Also, thank you for the kind words! It sometimes gets a bit disheartening to record a pod every week when the Phoenix are playing like shark. Comments like the one from you help make it feel worthwhile ?

The work you guys put in is greatly appreciated by many.
On the internet (and in life) we tend to talk about the negatives more than the positives. When something bugs us we speak up, when we are satisfied we tend to keep chugging along. So its probably worth remembering that if a couple of people criticize you guys, they are among many many satisfied listeners (and even complainers are usually satisfied listeners).
Oh also, you guys are an invaluable resource for me to keep up with local football. I tend to struggle to keep up with it all but you guys in my ear weekly or so, is so useful.
The latest episode of #PhoenixCity is here! Check it out on iTunes, in your podcast app or at http://yellowfever.co.nz/podcasts
The pod are back and celebrate their 100th episode by chatting about the new (but unnamed Phoenix manager), the U20's sharkty performance against Vietnam at the U20WC, and the first round proper of the Chatham Cup for 2017.

"You can never get a bloody tradesman at Easter, it's a wonder Jesus got crucified" - Karl Pilkington
Thanks for the 100, and continuing with the love fest this is one of the only podcasts that I actually keep up to date with (rather than having dozens of back episodes filling up my phone). I also drop the speed of it down to 1.0 when I listen to most podcasts at 1.6.
Even when there is the odd criticism on here just remember that that criticism only exists because the people who are making comments are listening every week and are engaged, for those people even having them listen long enough to get angry is an achievement.
