Piece of cake one might say.
Playing in Adelaide with the team we have I would be surprised if we got even close.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

Geddin!
its not gonna be easy, but we have a full squad to pick from if Lia is back, selections will be interesting.
433? 422? North in or Out? Lia in? Greeny to start?

Everyone forgets about Ifill, but...
I reckon
Vuko Party - Siggy - Dura - Lochy Brown - Moosecat Rojas - Ward D Mac - Greenie
http://www.yellowfever.co.nz/users/195
I'd mix it up a bit and go with something like this:
Vuko
Hearfield North Dura Lochy
Siggy Manny
Ward Brown Rojas
DMac
Subs: Lia, Daniel, Greenacre
- tempting to replace Lia with Pav and have a total attacking bench + we know Pav will be fit
- Siggy can move up cause he loves a good maraud.
Why on earth would you play Siggy at Dm. When he hasn't played there all year

F*ck you're a miserable bastard.

You. Must. Go.
North Sigmund Durante Lochhead
Muscat
Ward Brown Rojas
Greenacre
Macallister
Crowther, Hearfield, 2 of: Daniel/Ifill/Lia
I wonder if Lia and Ifill will be back?
My only issue is that today we were not strong down the middle of the field, so will be interesting how manny can take flores

You mean the team that beat Adelaide last weekend at home, right?

- Sigmund and Durante definitely at CB, North or Hearfield for RB? Hearfield has done little wrong for the majority of the season at RB, but if we're keen to keep North on board next season, Ricki would have to play him.
- If Lia is fit, he goes into the midfield in place of Greenacre who moves to the bench. If not then Greenacre plays striker in behind BigMac.
- If Ifill can convince Ricki that he's fit, then he gets a bench spot for sure. He's going to majorly out of touch, but a classy 15 minute spell when we need it could be gold.
I'd like to see this (in a perfect world):
Vuko
Hearfield Dura Siggy Lochy
Lia Muscat
Brown
Ward Rojas
BigMac
Bench: North, Daniel, Ifill, Vuko
North as defensive cover only, Daneil and Ifill on at 75 only if we're behind.
And if you call yourself a Nix supporter, you should be right in behind them, it's sudden death against a team we've beaten two weeks ago. We can do this! COYN!ScoobyD2011-02-13 21:23:01

Ugh, was hoping for the Sat night game, it will be a mad dash home after the Hurricanes/Highlanders game.
our win over them last week is going to give us a bit of a mental advantage i think
i think we need to go with
---------Vuko-----
Siggy-north-durante-Lochead
--------Muscat------------
----Lia-------Brown
Ward---------------Rojas
---------Dmac-----------
bench: ifill, daniel, greenacre, hearfield, Crowther
although i did like someones option of having vuko in goal and on the bench

Played him off the park in Chch, shut him down completely.
"ALL the stars are aligning for Adelaide United's elimination final at Hindmarsh Stadium on Friday night.
Sergio van Dijk and Cassio, who along with Marcos Flores have been the Reds' most important players this season, should be back in full training before the weekend.
With Andy Slory also expected to recover from a calf injury suffered in Friday's 2-1 win against Melbourne Victory, the Reds will be as close to full strength as they could have hoped heading into the post-season.
And the confidence gained from the Melbourne win has Rini Coolen's men primed for an assault on the finals.
"We deserved the win (on Friday) against a real good and big team, so we're happy at the moment," Coolen said.
"Our confidence is back by winning that game so it gives us a good feeling for the next one."
Adelaide has the added advantage of a seven-day preparation for the knockout match, compared to the five-day turnaround Wellington will endure.Coolen said the added break would be beneficial to his side, giving his fit players time to rest and his injured trio time to recover.
"It's always an advantage," Coolen said. "But if you have four or five days break between games, that's enough."
Cassio completed a light run with club masseur Diego Pelligrino yesterday and appeared to move freely as he recovers from a thigh strain suffered during a 1-0 loss to Wellington last week.
"Cassio is doing well . . . he pulled up well, real positive," Coolen said.
"I think he will be ready for that game and even ready before that game for a couple of training sessions.
"(Van Dijk) should be fit as well. And Slory, this morning it was pretty positive."
If all three are available Coolen will be forced to reshuffle the starting 11 who fronted the Victory.
He said Francisco Usucar - who filled in for Cassio with aplomb at left back on Friday night - would shift back into his usual role in central midfield, relegating either Adam Hughes or Paul Reid to the bench.
"They have to challenge each other and the best one has to play," Coolen said. "There are a couple of choices to make but that's a positive."
Van Dijk would replace Travis Dodd up front.
Coolen appears committed to continuing the Nigel Boogard-Dario Bodrusic partnership in central defence.
Bodrusic played well before failing to clear a ball which resulted in Archie Thompson's equaliser for the Victory.
He
was replaced by Robbie Cornthwaite just four minutes later. However,
Coolen said the substitution had nothing to do with that error. "
I have a good feeling about this one too.........
Nostalgia isnt what it used to be...........
