Probably the most clueless display yet - wots the point of hitting long balls all night if D Mac isn't there. Don't get it.

Up until the second goal I thought we had played OK - not brilliant but OK. We were feeding the ball to Rojas, he was running at the defence, you felt something was building. After the goal, yeah, it was hopeful long ball all the way. Mentally we were toast.

Your right, that loss to the 3rd place team that puts us one place out of the top 6 on goal difference (admittedly atrocious goal difference) kills our chance completely.

I hope the Joel Griffiths deal comes off - we really need some spark in the box.

As much as I love Greeny's work ethic he doesn't look like he could score in a .........
He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

Yip.  It was definitely a "what if" moment.

If thats the way we are going to play and given the games other teams have in hand, I don't even think goal difference will come in to it.

I hope im wrong

I believe in Ifill, still.  Just not his volleying.

And Rojas is still my "young gun".

But a totally sh*t night, overall, it must be said.

Tegal, are you taking the mick? It is next week against CCM. The commentators were saying they have already had over 5k requests for tickets.

I'm not Ifills biggest fan but he still quality. When he is good he's great but when he's bad he is terrible.

Poor game today well really just after the second goal... Hopefully the boys can shake it off
Next game is gonna be hard with the injuries and suspensions

Leo proved just how average he was when he took the free kick from just outside the box and hit it straight at the wall.  That doesn't happen in saturday football.  I don't understand how you can be so useless.

Sack Leo.

Well that was crap.

What happened to the way we played against Adelaide? What happened to the excellent passing game and player movement? It was kind of...."well, lets go back to the way we played early season"

FFS don't play Greenie by himself up front. It has not worked all season and it did not work last night. We were turning things around when Ifill was moved upfront. He has the strenght and size and skill to compete. Greenie can run around and do layoffs etc but he is next to useless competing up front. As for missing that sitter.....enough said!!!!

Why do the midfield suddenly go all mongrel and decide to hack them off the park?. We were very lucky to finish the game with 11 players. Dumb dumb play giving away all those free kicks in your own half.

I thought we had turned the corner with the display against Adelaide. Last night showed we are still a long way from making a serious push inot the top 6.

That was a very ugly game. And now we have put ourselves in a bind for next week where we really need to beat Newcastle to stop them getting away from us. No Dura, Lia, Paston... Its not looking healthy. I imagine Ricki must be spitting tacks

Edit: on count back, Lia is available... serves me right for listening to the commentators on that front
