Manny was yelling at Bertos. I don't know why. He was standing right beside Archie and he just moved and Manny didn't go with him. Bertos had nothing to do with it.

Fucking hell, i've noticed that whenever things get tight in the last 15 minutes we almost always lose out on the 50/50 challenges. Is it a sign of our aging legs across the park?

Well not a bad effort today.  Glad the season is over,  next year can only get better.

Frustrating season is over.  Signs of life at the end.  Now comes the off-season.  Siggy: "If we've made changes at earlier in the season, we would have been right there..."

The end game end on replay I think showed why. Bertos was drifting off the end of the wall (not sure if that was what Pasty was telling to do or not to do) and Manny was kinda hedging between the end of the wall and Archie not sure of which way to go.

Did he actually say that? Was that on the radio broadcast?

Disappointed but realistically over the course of the whole season the wooden spoon was a pretty fair indication of our quality, or rather lack of it.

Never mind, bottom, second from bottom, it hardly matters. It's over, time to move on and dream of better times ahead.

Thats an interesting comment. If one were to speculate, he could have been taking a crack at Ricki which is a bold move considering he is the AW boss still and Dura has just been naturalised*

Hard to believe such a good squad could finish last. Appreciate the owners saving the club, which is what they've done. But man they need to learnt a lot fast. Morgan's ridiculous public outbursts about total football and style were naive, and sadly confused the playing staff. Also, not enough footballing people who know what they're doing involved in running the club off the field. Hear lots of exciting things are in the wind re promotional stuff and similar plans. But changing the brand to NZ Phoenix or whatever the hell they are dreaming up now will mean nothing, if they don't spend on getting a top quality midfield together.

100 games for Piney, too.  Legend.

Piney and Chotey: who would've thought that in this day and age listening to football on the radio could be so brilliant. Top work.

I have never tuned into a radio broadcast. I am not a fan of Dewhurst but is there quite a noticable difference?

Well thank god that dog of a season is over. May the new coach, whoever he is and whenever he his hired (have they actually started interviewing yet?), bring in some good new blood and hopefully one class import.

Auckland will rise once more

Can I ask you whom you do like. You are not a GGW fan, no one is really and Dewhurst fan and Piney is not a fan of yours either. I am intrigued as to whom you would prefer.
