I like 'don't stop believing' or 'keeping the faith' or something along those lines for big banner ideas.

Right kiddies

This week we need to get in and support our lads.  We're gonna get something put on the big banner and there may be another surprise looming.

What I need from ya'll is some volunteers to hold banners and flags etc.  We ideally want the banner to stay up long enough to get the message across.  No-one likes a premature down fall (least of all me).

Advocating bringing your own banners too.  The more yellow the better.

If anyone has any special bannering requirements/preferences (whether you wanna be a flag bearer or banner helperer) feel free to flick me an email at iluvnix17@gmail.com.

Banner idea is pretty much set I think, now for the volunteers to start rolling up!

Bit hard to display with no-one to hold it up.

If you want one flag waved over in Aisle 12, I'll do it. It would be very near the Siggy fan Club Banner.

Idea is to keep it all in the FZ, but appreciate it.

Banner (and I dunno if I'm allowed to say) will be something that has been mentioned in this thread.

I can neither confirm nor deny the use of the scarf.  I'm bound by confidentiality in my tifo assist.

Edit - no-one will force u to hold the banner if you don't want to.  You can wave flags instead :)

Been chatting to one of our regular Away visitors from Newcastle today....

There's about 20 of them coming over on this trip and, with it being Aussie day, they are intending to get munted on the Saturday as well as the Sunday! :-) For those interested and keen to catch up, Timmy and the boys will be in the 4 Kings on Saturday night.

And then no doubt starting early on the Sunday again - so it seems rude not to join them! :-)

When the fixture list came out, the usuals went out and booked their trips to Wellington straight away for their "annual flogging". Not sure if they were talking about football or liver damage though! :-)

It's going to be a great day, and hopefully a decent result tops it off!

Trying to arrange getting down there for the game. The more the merrier

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

simple idea, id imagine that we wont have a massive crowd at this game, some how convince the ROF ppl to close of a section, then spell something simple out of black rubbish bags over seats.. GO NIX or something. would look cool.

if that doesnt get support, then im with journey. maybe a banner saying 'street light, people'. that would be a clear message... or as about as clear as welnix/nix are giving out these days anyway.

Based on last night a Fenton suspension would be a problem...  particularly considering his last was for that 'dive' against Victory.  Fucking A-League refs.

And Durante's last yellow was for that 'penalty' against Sydney. Throw in the offsides in Adelaide, & A-League refs really doing a number on us.

tbf they have done a number on many clubs this season.  We have possibly had the worst but they have been just awful at times this season for everyone.

Really not sure what sort of a team is going to front up this weekend but you would hope the senior players circle the wagons and pull things together. If they are confused or their spirits are down they are still professional sportsmen. You would hope they have pride still in their performance and can rally the side irrespective of the storm thats going on around them. If they walk off the park defeated but we know they gave it all then I for one could not ask any more from them.

What they need from us is to be there loud and proud. Get everyone you know along....a big noisy crowd letting them know we still support them would give them a huge lift.

Its an FFA-Illuminati-FIFA conspiracy to prevent the Phoenix ever qualifying for Asia to avoid the awkward situation where they don't know what to do... Also they must prevent the Phoenix from ever winning the competition. That would completely undo the new world order.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but I heard today that no tickets have been sold for the game on sunday...

Not sure if that means literally zero tickets or figuratively very little/almost none but its bad news...

Between the run of bad form, the Loss, the whole tactics-ownership saga, Gareth publicly denouncing cats and constant negative media coverage its pretty much a perfect shit storm for a terrible crowd. All it Wellington need to be is a overcast and a little breezy and we are screwed.

And by terrible crowd I mean just us so actually a very good crowd just not very numerous.

I wonder if Gareth contemplated the spin off of 'death to all cats' effect the ticket sales. If you are against Gareth's position then you are more likely to stay home and watch than put your hand in your pocket for him.

Gareth needs to keep out of the spot light big time and quickly.

So there's the banner then-

"Hands off our Pussies!"

or,

"Oi, Morgan, leave the cats alone" (think Floyd)

I too really wish he would shut the fuck up. He may be a very rich man, he may be a great philnathropist, he may be a great guy at parties, but...

a) He is not any sort of philosopher/ deep thinker/ Guru,

b) His ideas of management belong in Tudor times,

and most importantly,

c) He knows seven tenths of sweet fuck all about football. Or handling the media.

There. I've waited a long time to get that off my chest. Perhaps he ought to just go and get an ordinary job so he doesn't sit around thinking so much.

And by the way.....we will win on Sunday, and we will win well.
