Anyone heard if Elliots international clearance had come from FIFA yet?.....apparently they might still be waiting up to kickoff. It should'nt be a problem as Elliot is clubless.

Elliotts clearance from FIFA came thru overnight only had to be signed off by NZFA today. Presumably that has all been done. Piney might like to confirm ???

In a 4-3-3

Interesting that we will be playing with Lia and Brown who have both been kak. Perhaps playing alongside Elliott will help Timmy regain some form.

Lia and Elliott are quite similar players really.

Hope we play alright - Brisbane have had a terrific season thus far and the last game I went to at the Ring of Fire was when Leo missed a sitter and they beat us 1-0. We never really seem to play very well against em.

Tim will bomb forward behind Greenacre, Lia will munch around the middle trying to break McKay's legs and Elliott sit deepest as distributor and defensive shield.

Itll end up more like a 442 is my guess, with Brown virtually a second striker and Leo and Ifill wide men with Lia and Elliott in the engine
