I would definitely like to see Daniel in the side again, in for Hearfield.

Would like to see Dodd keep his place, although Sigmund is a NZer, so I'm undecided on who I want to play at CB with Durante...either's good for me, I believe they both do a good job...

I don't think is an issue of citizenship, but rather of form. I think Dodd has done well vs CCM. However, I ratem the Seamonster higher (if fit of course). Guess we can only wait and see.

Where do you get off? i mean this is getting very low.

Because I heard that is what actually happened after reading the Newcastle forum a while back?

It's not a big insult, it happens all the time tbh.

I think he is a mediocre player at best. Tries hard but never really gets anywhere though he did come off the bench a couple of times and make an impact so perhaps he shouldn't be starting.

Again I think you know nothing about football. God, please think before you post some of this sheite.

Yeah I probably shouldn't of said that in retrospect.

But seriously, go back to bleating on about that Celtic defender. It was hilarious the 100th time you did it. Why did you get unbanned? You never contribute anything anyway.

You are pretty much the definition of hypocritical - all you did in the first year of this forum was post spam and bullsh*t. Get off your high horse.

Changed man my friend, i saw a News Flash and everything became clear.. And if you want I can really bring B-0B-0 back up.

I thought Siggy played right back well enough to have another go at it.

yeh it is probably good team policy that Dodd keep his place- a la Moss/Paston- if a bloke is doing nothing wrong he shouldn't be dropped IMO. though Siggie!

yeh, harsh call, but rewarding form is good coaching I think, and it guards against complacency from anyone. Siggie on the bench. Dodd, Durante Muscat and Lochead at the back. waddya reckon?

the newcastle forum is full of half wits that know nothing about football..and the people on there know nothing about hearfield..he has earned everything he has achieved to date..and everything he will achieve..so watch what you say..

Quite right, and he may prove to be a better distributor but his marking, when in the box, doesn't seem to be as sure as Siggy's.

Seeing as though we barely hung on last week, I really dont see a win. Queensland play very well at home and have played some beautiful football. And its not something we get to see often from us.

As hard as it is, as a coach I'd start with the same team. I don't think Hearfield deserves it, but I'm thinking he'll start so that Daniel can come on later when they are stuffed. We see Daniel at his best this way and NOT when he starts - stranger things have happened this year though..
Just a toss up whether it will be Siggy or Dodd, as it was a winning team and the defence was magnificent, so why change it? Whoever misses out won't travel.
I think this will be very very hard. Any points over there will be well earned.

Merry Xmas

I won't be dissapointed if RH puts out the same team as last week.

Concerning Troy though, I think his future is as a holding/defensive midfielder unless he can improve on the quality of his first and last touches.

I'm a bit worried the team might be enjoying the festive period a bit too much. Then again Roar are full of boozehags anyway so will prob even out

Hopefully Kwasnik can get some time. I reckon he can redeem himself.

Tough on Dodd but Siggy to come in and replace him, even tougher is no place on the bench for Dodd as McKain to cover CB position. Siggy has been inspirational and is now first choice CB.

Hearfield has done nothing in last two games to justify a starting role, so Daniel or Kwasnik to get a chance in his place.

Moss to start ahead of Paston as he is in form and is the better keeper.

I don't care if Fate happens to be part-time, full-time or temping - I still want to see Daniel start....

I have a lot of time for Hearfield - I like his attitude - gives 100% - a very good team man. Having said that he was, by his normal good standard, very average against the Mariners.

I would, however, prefer him to start against the Roar. The Roar have a very good midfield that has dominated us every game we've played against them this season. To win this Sunday we are going to have to muscle up in the midfield, mark very tightly and track back with runners - none of which is Daniel's forte.

I'd start with Hearfield - stick him on whoever and tell him to run himself ragged for 50 minutes. Once the edge has, hopefully, been taken off the Roar midfield I'd bring Daniel on. I'd bring him on, depending on the satus of the game (i.e. score) of course, much earlier than Herbert has been - I'd like to see him on with 35 - 40 minutes left.
He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)
