IMO Warner is a usless lump!!!

Ok in the air but as mobile as my Gran...and she has had two hip replacements

Two games in a row he has let in two goals that a more nimble goalie would have stopped!!!

Locky was superb

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Phoenix fans. We have to win them over one fan at a time.

Best games in a while for Leo, Lochie, and Ward

Very good win, keeps us close to where we need  to be. Guys showed huge desire and determination, and Paul led the way. He is a crucial figure in this team. Although, still WIP,  I have to mention that Leo played much better then in the the last several games.

Harsh. Cazarine mis-hit the shot and it wrong-footed Warner. Not many keepers would've saved that one. Showed great class against Roar to save our bacon at least four times and hasn't stuffed up horribly since.

a nice win, some good play and some not so good, I'm a happy chap though.
Timmys goal just fantastic, and great to see Ifill back on the score sheet.

Onwards and upwards..........................

great to remind the aussie sides what coming to the Ring of Fire means!

excellent first half (could have had a few more)

gritty in 2nd half and what a goal by Timmo!

nice to walk down that concourse in a gale with the winning feeling again!

All is good in my Nix universe..plenty of commitment across the park from all  players, two great goals, 3 points and up the table we go!
No voice left, business as usual post match...its a beautiful day!

Well played the Nix,  what a difference Ifill makes when he is on the pitch.  Looking forward to seeing both him and Sanchez on at the same time.  Leos best game for along while.  Fever also in fine voice.

Really well played. A complete team performance. And man, there was so much more movement off the ball tonight. Players have been guilty of being static too much this season, but tonight everyone looked hungry to receive the ball. It was brilliant to watch.

crap attendance considering the kick off time etc and a decent game missed by those who piked out. Your loss. Was a cracker of a game with damn good goals from us. Leo's best game since before the World Cup. The team really played well for most of the game. It was positive and the attacking flair was there to see.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

This!

We look a different side when these 3 are on song!

While it's awesome to Ifill back, and he does add that extra somthing to our attack, I still think the midfield won it for us today. Great fast and accurate passing gave Carle and Emerton no hope!

Good to see 2 up front today though
Has Leo been working on his left foot?

This. Lay off my new bald Trinidadian boyfriend. He was plenty in position if Cazarine had hit the ball clean. Still, I think he needs a rest and Pasty should play next week. (And the instant Pasty makes the slightest error the "WE WANT WARNER" chant will start. So it goes.)

Superb goal from Iffy, lucky goal from Timmeh and lucky goal from Cazarine. Rocket Reddy was all that stopped this being a Nix walloping.

Interesting, Ward was sh*t on attack but he made some fine defensive tackles. The guy behind me at The Fox kept abusing Pav all game but I thought he did enough to be back on the bench next game.

There was a linesman with an insane Merv Hughes mo'.

              BLASPHEMER!!!!!!!!!!!
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Have Sydney FC filed a missing persons report for Nicky Carle? Last seen in Lia's back pocket.

Great game all round from the entire side, most grateful they turned that on for all of us lucky enough to be in attendance.

Not sure I've seen him stuff up at all. He's got Paston covered but I do feel that Ricky will give Paston a run sometime soon

He would be foolish not to. There is a risk Paston walks next year and while he is not the future, he has at least 2 years left I think. Warner even less so we could be in a position with no keepers next year worse case.

Plus the selfish Kiwi in me thinks its responsible to keep Paston in form for the All Whites (even though they have no games on the immediate horizon) unless he is not picking Paston again and is moving onto Moss with Gleeson as cover.

Warner was horribly out of position for that goal and then reacted late.

From his performance this season, I would rate Paston as a clear number one.
