If you are serious then you should ban the comment about breaking legs.
But of course these are your rules.
Leg breaking comment was made in jest, yours was not.

My comment was that he was a f--k whit to make that comment and he was. We dont have smilies anymore so how do you know it was in jest?

Ok I promise that in future I will flag a joke with.."this is a joke or its satire or irony"
However isn't saying that someone is a f--k wit, breaking some sort of rule. I am not a f--k wit. Though at times in my life I must admit that others might have gained the impression that I was ....but I am not currently.(this is satire....or is it irony? )

Maybe Kiwi Hatter could make some Ricki Herbert Wooden Spoons to compliment his Oven Gloves!

Y'all do know Dirty-Joel is gonna score against us yes? We have a rare talent for resurrecting the dead - we've done it time and time again.

Debutants, 40 year olds, players who haven't scored in 80+ games...they seem to find new life when they play us.

Not saying we're going to lose, just that Mr Nut Grab will bag one.

Hope we win 2-1 though!

More special prizes!?  I'd PM Hatter if I could (except I think he has me on the "ignore" function dammit).

Oooooh a prize!
Hmmmm... six losses, three draws and one win.

A special prize for the first person to tell me Rickis only win.
Assuming i've got my stats correct.

While washing the dishes another Ricki victory over Farina coached teams came to me.
So that makes two wins

Really want to see Stein get another 90 minutes. Our best player technically and I know he's been a winger in his past career but would it be worth Ricki trying him in the ball playing CM role? That is if they want to continue to try this attacking game.

When he is up front the delivery is so poor he hardly gets the ball, let alone to his feet, so he drops to look for it, gets it and turns, old lazyballs Brockie is standing around picking his nose not making a run and marked by 2 defenders as usual, so he's got no option but to pass backward or laterally. Case in point last week he dropped back to our half, picked up the ball, turned and saw no option so ran all the way into the opposition box and almost scored.

Really rate the guy and can't help but think that in another A-League team giving him some even half reasonable ball to feet he would be banging them in. Early season home game (vs I can't remember) springs to mind when Ifill put him through and that composed finish was superb.

Maybe Boyd up front with Brockie to give an injection of energy and make some runs, he was lost last week out wide and may be able to be more involved centrally. Brockie has scored plenty but tends to feed off scraps and loose ball, hardly see him make an angled run or look for a quick 1-2, let alone play anyone else in.

I cant see Ricki making many changes this week, let alone the above, ever. But I live in hope.

Oh crap.  Now I have to figure it out.

Nelsen goal, Mt.Smart. Conga line around the old North stand... must have been 2002.

Australia were very lucky to get past Tahiti in the Semi in pouring rain in front of about 150 people.

I wonder if Stein would be  better in that deeper lying role that Brockie has been playing.

I agree, but a lot of people wanted him in the squad immediately, simply forgetting that fact. I believe September was his last competitive match

sthn.jeff has been negative about Hogg from the outset so no surprises with his dull Herbert/Hogg comment.

Agree with Jeff Vader, Think its more of a case first game in 3 months and see how he pulls up. Probably needs a couple of training games to get match fitness. You cant get that overnight.

Should be a good game, just hope we don't sit back and absorb it all and not give it a crack.

The only "negative" I have said about Hogg is that he will not start straight away and in my opinion is only likely to get a run in the event of an injury to Lochy. A number of people have been on his bandwagon suggesting he start straight away, we must get rid of Lochy and Hogg is the answer to all our woes. Call me negative if you like but that is not realistic for someone who played their last competitive match in September. His signing for three months is an extended trial for him with a view to the future more than anything else.

Current conditions in Sydney: 42 degrees and incredibly uncomfortable. Haven't been this hot since about two weeks ago when it was this hot. Ridiculous. In more positive news, tomorrow's forecast is for Wind & Rain & Phoenix.
