I reckon they will look for something in a youth player that is not a carbon copy of what they have in senior players already.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

What position is Ant Hobbs?

Nick Branch looks to be a very solid, mature player. Who does he play club footy for?

Great to see some strikers in there too! They're the players we want RH to sign.

Ant Hobbs is a slow, annoying left back. >_<

Sorry, just got a bad impression of him watching him be outpaced by Solomon Islanders for 90 minutes down in Mangere.

He wouldn't be keen to sit on the bench.

Think current reserve keepers.

He's started less than half of our matches over the past 2 seasons and has had major injuries in both.  Plus he's getting on so only a year on year prospect now.  I think if a quality starting keeper was available we'd sign him up quick smart - I don't think paston has quite the hold on the number 1 jersey that we think, we did sign vuko last year pretty smartly

Normo's coming home

More like a slow RB who can play LB. Definitely not A league standard. He hardly played in the ASB prem

https://www.givemefootball.com/pfa-transfer-list

Always good for a read and has a handy search tool.

We're lacking a target man, a big presence in the attacking end. (among the many other vacancies in the squad)

rmann Bjrnsson has been released from Hartlepool. 6 ft 6 and only turned 30 a few months ago. Hasnt been a prolific scorer but thats a minor issue gings2011-05-24 00:47:52

Why not Fallon? Seriously he's been released and fits the mould we need. Get his ass over here as a Marque so we can try get close to playing the $ he's used.

Plus side his club has been broke for how long now? He'll be used to the off field drama, i'm sure he thrives on it.

Don't think he was getting paid at Plymouth.  means he'd probably fit in here.

Luckily (I'm not a big fan of Rory) he has said he doesn't intend to play in the A-League anytime soon. He gives away far too many fouls, too slow and inspite of his height is not really that good in the air. If the referee is leniant he can cause defenders problems with his body positioning and he does have a powerful shot on him.

Remember also that Rory will only come if the Lord Jesus Christ says it's okay. Who knows what the good Lord has in store for Rory? Perhaps God Almighty will tell him to go play in Kazakhstan next.

Rory, you should go play in Kazakstan next. Trust me, it will be a blast! Just remember, you only ever handball once over there so make it worthwhile!

What people want and what they receive can differ dramatically sometimes. My money is on him taking another League 1 Contract when Championship options dry up in June.

Vukovich was good, but Rocket was great.

Phoenix looking for a keeper? Looks like it's time for my annual "SIGN KAWIN TAMMASATCHANAN" post.

Just turned 21, #1 keeper for Thailand, #1 for Muang Thong's championship winning sides in 2009 & 2010. Played all 30 league  matches in 2009. Was to have gone to Man U for a trial in Jan, but broke his hand in November.

He's playing tonight in an AFC Cup match for Muang Thong Utd v Al Aled (KO 12:30am NZT).

A little Dolly Parton perhaps:

Tammasatchanan
What a way to keep a clean sheet
Nothin's gettin by
No way we're gonna get beat
Aussies kept scoreless
And they never give you credit
It's enough to drive you
Crazy if you let it!

How much would he be earning in Thailand, just out of curiosity?
