A family pass costs $60. No including the booking fee. Another drive past the ROF and saw that the Lions game allows under 14s in for free...there maybe have to have a paying adult with them but it's still a good deal.

Oh not really a rugby fan -with or without the shield. I don't have children myself however thoughtit was agood idea to get more young ones along onto thegames at family friendly times. Don't know if they club have tried it or not. $60 is a lot for a day out, you'd pay roughly the same to take a family to the movies I'm guessing.
Movies: Cheap Tuesdays is about $45 for 2 adults and 2 kids, plus a gazillion more for popcorn and a small mortgage for car parking (unless out at skycity where it's free). Don't know what it would be for Friday- Sunday so probably not too far off $60.
For a silver family pass going to all home games bar ChCh it works out around $45-50 per game (plus a gazillion for chips and hotdogs).
Yes it's cheap Steve-O but we can still grumble can't we?!

Wow, never been called trendy before, especially after having a season ticket for 26 straight years for an unglamorous club like Wolves, oh to relive those decadent cool hunting Tuesday nights in downtown Grimbsy and Portsmouth in the middle of winter!
Obviously all this pales into insignificance for a heavyweight, forum loving, lanyard wearing hardcore football fan like you Fortean.
Oh by the way I got made redundant in May so we couldnt justify buying season tickets for the Phoenix this season as our cat needed a new Burberry raincoat and I wanted a Mercedes Benz convertible for summer.
Miss you too. Over and out.

Hey Hey you are still alive!!!! Don't get all tetchy. I'm really Sorry to hear about the job mate honestly that sucks. Good that the cat is doing well.

The more fans come back
If the price set up on $12-$15(Adult)
Any chance there ll be 15,000 ppl get into Westpac?
$25 x 8,000 = $200,000
$15 x 15,000=$225,000
Compared to other sporting events, nix prices are a bargain - sure I don't have kids, nor even a girlfriend, but $60 for a family ticket does seem pretty reasonable.
A real mystery why so many stayed away, hopefully some answers will be provided by the crowd at the next game. i.e if it is sundays that get better crowds, or more of a general slump in numbers...
The Ruf, The Ruf, The Ruf is on Fire!!

The problem there is devauling the product. If the price goes down to $15 you may get one good crowd. If the team loses or the weather is poor for a few home games you can't just shove the price back up. You could make it $8 I suppose and hope for 25,000

The prices for everything have been put up, but the food is still crap.
So it's cheap to get in but expensive to drink (or eat).
Now I recall someone grumbling about grumblers about ticket prices...

Only flaw with that is the other adult and two kids tickets you have to get (and as a result even if you wanted too you probably couldn't afford the beers!)

Actually I think LG points it out every 7.9 seconds.
Chicken and chips was the only thing we found last game...
But the rest of the food is rubbish. Burgers are the worst.

Nothing wrong with that :p
Only in New Zealand can you start a thread on football fans and end up discussing fish and chips!
Would be nice to get another 10k crowd but previous seasons' trends don't support this.
