Why I like stripes (stripping 2009)

That is just one persons theory based on what has been said in the media.  The only ones there confirmed are the Jets and the Mariners, and those are only confirmed for the Asian Champions League (although look like being season kits as well)

Some crap strips I rekon.

Nothing new since February then.

I saw some speculation that Queensland Roar may drop the orange along with changing the name to Brisbane Roar - can't remember where I read it though.

Two home strips...

I dunno about two home strips, Mossman might be right here...

You'd think that they away strip would be made so that it wouldn't clash with any opposition home strips that the 1st strip did. Oh well.

Any Sauce for them images?

Like 'em alot, although the backs look a little strange how the designs break off for the numbers. Both of Perth's are far and away the worst of those shirts.Oska2009-04-08 18:40:02

I'm guessing the FFA believes that CCM's yellow/white alternate strip is different enough to not clash with our striped kit. I think our kit is black enough for that to be the case, but I guess we'd just have to wait and see.

Or we play in our alternate strip.

I highly doubt it. Home team gets to play in their home strip, it's the away team that needs to make accomodations.  I only see us playing at home in our clash strip against exhibition teams, like we did in 2007 against LA.

Precedent - Adelaide v. Queensland last year. The ideal situation (other than Brisbane getting their act together in the first place) would have been Adelaide to wear their away kit at home. Since Adelaide weren't forced to do so, I don't see us having the same problem. And I personally see orange v. red clashing more than black & yellow v. yellow & white.

What is interesting is that it appears that the away kit the jets wore in the ACL won't be their one for the season, and also the home kit, the one with the red arm.

I think these are great, the away kit looks mean

The white Melbourne away kit is still the best in the league

Yeah I've had pants like that, Frankie.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.
