All the speculative nonsense over the stripey shirts just made me realise that I probably cant get over it...and I still Hate stripes, yellow black or otherwise

Pault, love em or hate em you know you will buy the shirt, wear the shirt and moan about it all season.
It just goes to show how boring it is with no football to comment on, otherwise I am sure this thread and many others would have died by now.

You'd think that they away strip would be made so that it wouldn't clash with any opposition home strips that the 1st strip did. Oh well.

I'm guessing the FFA believes that CCM's yellow/white alternate strip is different enough to not clash with our striped kit. I think our kit is black enough for that to be the case, but I guess we'd just have to wait and see.
CCM's strip they've been wearing in the ACL  is yellow and black stripes - hmmmm

Actually, yellow and navy blue stripes. But yes, dark enough to possibly cause problems with our kit

Hence why there are clash kits.

Matches in Gosford - Wellington wear white, CCM wear navy with yellow.
Matches in Wellington - Wellington wear black with yellow, CCM wear yellow & white.

Only potential problem is the CCM's yellow kit clashing with our home kit, something I doubt would be a problem, especially if the FFA approved it as it would have been (hopefully) considered.

Maybe that's why they aren't called AWAY strips. In action the CCM ones look class, hope we get long sleeved ones as well as short.

...Why?
Long sleeve shirts have a purpose. They aren't just for the look.
Since the A-league is in summer there isn't any need for them.
The sleeves would just be rolled up all the time.

Do you have any evidence of this?  Like which store.. I find it weird that they have it since its not even offically released.

HA !  We're about 6 months late on our White Noise plans, let alone Fever gear.

Suspect we'll be looking at July.

Because thats the favoured sport here, so everything has to look like it

You guys didn't notice their kits in the first four seasons looked pretty much the same?

I completely get why they have the V, but yeah, does look like a league kit. Always has, and for the forseeable future it always will.

Were not talking bout the victory, just using them as an example, but we need to get away from the rugby type stuff, it sucks
