Sutts just physically cannot take a quick throw.
I have an amazing ability to find my way out of mazes. I'm pathological.

F these refs. Kuol kicks himself for a yellow and then Doka goes down easy when the home team are away. I know what to expect, but f- em.

I think the refs in our games recently have been generally pretty good but that was two terrible calls in a row.

And f- Danaskos again. And the two corners King owes Mata.

Just comparing to King v Auckland. And then this foul on Kosta.
Aussie player goes to ground and gets the call.

We had some momentum. Couple of calls and we’re defending again.

Yep but he isnt the only Phoenix to have done so yet he is the only one called on it.

Keeper does that pen all day. Danaskos has already not given it.

F- these guys.

And that racks up- that’s 4-5 marginal calls against us. Agree we’ve had fairly good reffing recently, but Danaskos was the one who let Risdon foul us all game long without a whistle and he’s been worse here.

Meh, I kinda get that call tbh. I'd hate to have one like that given against us

He changes direction because of the bounce of the ball and Kaltak leaves his leg hanging out. Anywhere else on the field it'll get blown for a foul.

Leaves the leg out to block him off. He changes direction to get the shot off. Stop apologising for them.

All the saddos, oh Callan did go down easy. Yeh- he was fouled. He didn’t foul anyone. Piss off and live in Sydney and get a freakn blue Mohawk.

Just saying, if I gave that in cap prem, I would be mortified when I saw the footage later. 100% in line with current coaching.

And we’ve been on top with no reward, maybe the net effect is we don’t do as well in Chch. We don’t get the goals, lower crowds etc etc.
We’re not billionaires FC, when we string things together we don’t need to be against the ref too.

Leg out, no ball, blocks him off, what ? That’s a foul. He’s blocked him in the action of shooting. Glad I don’t go anywhere near Cap Prem! (Thanks for your service don’t mind me but I’m stewing from that Auckland game already)

Jesus dude, chill out about the ref. He hasn't been fantastic but the way you're going on about him comes of a bit unhinged.

If we decided to play better football we'd be ahead regardless of 50/50 calls.

I know Nagasawa left it strategically, but argument can be made because he didn't touch it just before the first Kaltak contact, he doesn't have control of the ball and it is therefore just a coming together. After that contact it is def no foul. So not enough for VAR to overturn. If Nagasawa made a touch then there is no way VAR can't overturn.

there is a clear difference between the sort of poor touches others make and Piper's. They're in a different league and if you can't see that then you're insane. They're a country mile ahead of him. I genuinely can't understand how he has managed to get a pro deal with a touch as bad as his.

Dudes gotta get on the piss with Ishige and Nagasawa. You pass more and better to your friends. Ishige has provided a great assist for Nagasawa, but we’re still not connecting. There at the end they’re talking together. Team cohesion shows in the instinctive moments.

we seem to be slowly getting better with the ball every week. but it's still aimless stuff for long periods. and right now we only seem to have one attacking play; in to babarouses's feet and then quickly out to a runner

we've been decent. given we are usually rubbish in the first half, if we apply the usual second half improvement ratio, we should win this one comfortably ;-)

Early in the game three local women sitting behind me started cheering an attacking move so I turned around and pointed out we are NOT playing in yellow today.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Yeh.
Bit irritated.
Did you see the start of the Auckland game? Mata wins two clean corners. King can’t see them. Commentators and cameras do.
Elliot is fouled. VAR sees it. King can’t even on the monitors.

Couple of similar fouls today, inconsistently called, one as Kosta and Walker are away. Two good scoring chances that are at least 50:50 as fouls and probably more towards us. But we get neither, so can’t have been 50:50.

We don’t have some new French guy or Moreno to come on. We gotta get full value from our play.

You look how the Aussie fans get stuck in for their team. Adelaide and their coach carrying on about time added on. We can’t even support our boys with a fairly good shout.

No not insane at all may be you are in trying to say there are different types  of poor touches. Not sure how you justify  that dosnt matter who does it or how they do it. If a poor touch means a chance missed or lost possession or a chance given away. Cant get my head around why if Piper does it its different than if any one else does it.

So we have to play better than other teams in order to win? I’ve just had enough BS man. Go out and buy us Hemed then if you’re so rich.
This is our best football right now. We’ve fashioned a couple of chances and the rules about going down easy change between games.

There’s no CC fans going, well, uh, heh, Doka wasn’t really fouled there. The players running their tails off weren’t laughing. Should I tell Kosta that he just has to play better football and ignore the ref? Tell him yourself.

Kosta, Walker and Nagasawa had some fairly clear opinions.

You're clearly drunk posting again.

Chill out bro.

We can make our own fate, we can win regardless of ref.

The way you go on every match thread makes it sound like refs are the only reason we lose on any given week. That's illogical nonsense.
