Discount? Comes in at $47 for a single ticket! Sheesh. Not that it would stop me - far greater costs in getting/being there. Hopefully we will have sorted about our (numerous) issues by then and we will be witnessing history.

The Ticketmaster site doesn't appear to have any tickets available other than the $425 ones. Surely it hasn't sold out?
I'm pretty sure there's full sections they haven't put on sale yet - just releasing them in stages to keep it at 'Low Availability' for scarcity factor. Over the last few months I've never seen sections 8 and 9 put on sale - originally thought it was because it was where they'd put us but we are in section 2 now
Also what is up with ticketmaster spelling derby wrong? they are spelling it as 'darby'
Excuse me but what the absolute fudge? image.png62.49 KB I checked like half an hour ago and there were several tickets left in bay 2 but now it's only showing me those options. Why do they make buying tickets so complicated? It should be so simple.
This is very frustrating – a delay of about twenty minutes in confirming the purchase of two tickets in Bay 2 thanks to a gift card deciding to be a nuisance at the worst possible time has somehow left the Away zone completely unavailable on the second go and only indirect donations of $425 to Trump left standing.

Same thing happened for the previous game. Nothing available other than $425 tickets for ages, and then a bunch of regular tickets opened up in the last few weeks.

Seems less than ideal for traveling fans. Though Melbourne City probably wouldn’t have had many of those to worry about.
I understand more tickets are being released in the away bay. For some reason only 200 were released for Nix members, but the rest of the bay hasn't ever been available publicly.
The new tickets are far more expensive than regular game day pricing; crooks. Almost 40% more than normal MD. All those who bought earlier bought at normal prices but derby tax is on.
Have just heard the club is hoping something will be released on social media early next week Auckland dependent. (as in Monday) Really not sure why Auckland are drip feeding tickets has to be a turn off for casuals who may find something else to do. Will update as i hear more.

Away bay allocation is ⅔'s the size of what it was for the first derby up there.
900ish seats last time in 8 + 9 About 650 (give or take) this time in 1 + 2.
Typical fudgeen jafas.
Auckland dont give a shark about away fans thats pretty obvious. The Phoenix have tried talking to them about it but they just dont seem interested. Their release of any of the tickets just dosnt make sense hopefully their greed over prices will come back and bite them at some stage.

I don’t know if A-League does, but some leagues have minimum away supporter allowances. With the distances involved, many A-League games have minimal away supporter allowances, but derby games should have a mandated minimum of say, 10%, reserved at least until close to the date. Sell them in smaller defined areas in stages, then you can sell the periphery ones to latecomer locals.
A related issue is where away supporters are placed. I don’t agree with AFC MO of sticking away support in the back corner; it does not help the league thrive.

I like the article’s suggestion of calling away seating the “We Have Your Money” bay.
Also I agree about away fans bringing the atmosphere - to the Port’s credit they livened up the first derby for everyone, and I’d like to think we did the same (but better) in return.
Remember when the Belarus Premier League was briefly a must watch in 2020, when pretty much every other world football league had shut down due to Covid restrictions.
