I'd say fire up but I'm up in Tologa Bay battening down the hatches. The cyclone hitting.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Nix break the Amy Parks curse last weekend, Warriors break it last night. Is it too much to dream we can do it again?

Robbie's in Riccarton or The Loft near the riverside market will chuck it on for you if you ask if they aren't showing already. Although at Robbie's you may have to tip the barstaff extra to get them to take down the Auckland FC jersey on display...

Four Kings on Taranaki Street - I’m out of town but sounds like a few people will be there.

Less than two hours till kickoff, starting to sweat, but still feeling hopeful. Having to play at AAMI for two rounds in a row is cruel.

Nix beats Victory, Warriors beat the Storm, Nix beat City.

We took the gamble and left. Currently in Waipawa where it's shitty. About an hour after leaving Tologa, the house across the road partially lost its roof and other damage around the town. The cyclone is chasing us. Come on Phoenix, get us a great result to cheer us up. Hope to be home about 7pm

Can’t watch this game on the box.

Payne back. Greenie is doing great, but he has the benefit of an almost injury free very settled squad now.
Chiefy seldom had that this season.

Informed and educated? No.
Temperamental, volatile, and subject to change in narrative at the flip of a switch. Highly likely...

Honestly thought Kartum had a shot at making the starting lineup after last week. Look for him to come on early second half if we need goals.

Are the fans in a different spot this week? Looks like we've got no one there. Usually a few in Melbourne...

Why does it feel like we are playing at half pace?
I have an amazing ability to find my way out of mazes. I'm pathological.

The away bay for City games is on the camera side so you can't see it unless the specifically cut to it

I thought we were lucky to get that free kick. But I will say wouldn't look pretty if the boot did get to the face

Unfortunately you could see that coming, our defense is just not up to their attack

That had been coming

Payne could have done a lot better though. Iffil's Elliot call vindicated

Yea something is up with our defensive organisation tonight. Bill has rushed out a few times and got nothing but air, they've been able to find a free player almost at will. Also our playing it out is very chief-esk.

Payne still appears to raise to the occasion for the All Whites, less so for the 'Nix.

I'm usually his biggest endorser but Edwards is getting a bit found out today. Doesn't appear to have much in his locker other than the Sheridan-esque look backwards under pressure.

Still very much in this game. One of the biggest improvements thus far from Greenie

Can't help but notice none of his fellow teammates are exactly rushing over to help Atkinson up after that challenge from Nagasawa. Crack up!

Rufer's distribution has been top notch so far. He's really bought his A game to the back end of this season.
