Ball has been pretty average imo (although a good assist). Keen to see Gab come on for him soon

I don't watch a lot of a League. Is there usually intervals between goals that last longer than 6 minutes? Seems a bit excessive and a snooze fest.

To be fair to our defenders, it's tough defending when you're being strikers.

We are sitting deeper and deeper. Fouling them constantly too. Finger nail chewing time.

Wait- head clash and shove on Ball and everyone is worried about the CB who didn’t get to the ball…

7 minutes added??
sure theres been a few goals and a couple of injury stoppages but that seems excessive.

If David Williams pulls out one of his worldies in the last few minutes the TV is going out the window.

Rufer absolutely brilliant tonight.
We came back three times!
Toughness of champions?
A strange game and our much vaunted defense left their striker unmarked 6 yards from goal at 4-3.
But we held in the end.
I dunno. Funny old game. Thank f we won.

Kosta just casually dropping the 'I've actually won four championships' in the after match. 😂😂

I nearly pissed myself laughing at the commentators commiserating with Perth and saying how much mental toughness Perth showed coming back from 2:1 down and 3:2 down. Sounded like there was only one team that showed mental toughness tonight.

Credit to Perth, they are missing a lot of key players but they ran us very close and showed plenty of fighting spirit. If we'd beaten Victory 4-3 I'd be leaping round the room but instead I just feel a huge sense of relief. Watching the replay will be a happier experience.

Goes without saying we’re mentally tough!

A great game. Mainly because we won. But we looked like winning ad well, the way we kept coming back.
Pathetic. Not apathetic.

Top of the league! And now makes the game against Victory even bigger so we could go 3 points clear at the top.

I missed the early Taggart goal, but apart from the rocket from Susnjar there wasn't that much threat from Perth from our first equaliser until Stajcic made the three subs around 70th (?) minute. Had this change been done earlier who know how it would have ended.

Great game and advertisement for the league.
Honestly thought we played well throughout bar a few tough patches, looked the better, smoother and more creative side for most of the game and deserved the win. Perth were extremely clinical but also, their 3-3 goal should not have stood - Kosta was very clearly fouled in the buildup.
Some disappointing defensive mishaps - Surmans poor clearance on 1-0, nobody closing down Susnjar when he went to shoot outside the box, then that marking at the corner at the end... jeez.

So cool to go to this as my first away game. Great turnout of nix fans making plenty of noise.

Do I make that Payne’s season- 2 goals and 3 assists and a number of other key passes?
The headline might be Kosta, but Payne’s fairly prominent in the details!
