Hard to decide between Kosta & Paulsen as MotM for mine.

Both simply superb today - Kosta really stepping up this season, and I don't even need to say anything about Paulsen since he's grabbed the #1 spot, great player.

The only one good play of the game got us a win!

Paulsen top as always, Kosta great, Old brought some much needed energy. Kelly-Heald was ok too.

Apart from those 4 it was atrocious however. Great to be top of the table but we'll need to be much, much better than tonight.

I’m expecting a strong crowd in Wellington next week as a result of our results. Let’s hope for more than 8k and another win at home!

Say what you want about our attacking play, but the Phoenix defence this season is just 🤌🤌

You can see everyone has bought into the system, and it's so good seeing the shape hold, as well as having hustle and discipline to keep some real quality out so far.

Yeh, a lot of close games. Even the big win was closer than the scoreline.

But good sides win the tight ones. The league is pretty even and I think there's more in us yet.

As always, a lot will depend on squad injuries.

Top of the table feels bloody sweet, even if it is early days. Regardless, grinding these points early is massive for our season even if we tail off. Albeit there's still fixtures to play in the round, currently we're 9 points clear of 7th. Jets up next, let's keep the streak

Get ball into promising attacking position and then pass back - rinse, repeat. Can we see some positive attacking football please.

I'm glad we won,but God there was way way too much passing back.exasperating at times. It was lucky I kept watching.
