It just stupid that people makes huge assumptions and thinks that the coaching staff are totally inept. Also, do people have problems with Chinese players on the whole in this country or what? Or is it because of Leilei G** behaviour with the club. Previously we were all happy for Leilei G** to join after what he did for the NZKnights but things just didn't work out for him and us. Heck get over it.
Hope that ain't aimed at me. I didn't say anything about Chen or Chinese players. I said management have seen him play so I presume he's up to it
It wasn't aimed at you, it was basically the general absurd observation of what some of the people has said in the forum since Chen was under our radar. Chen is a youth player as much as Roja and Costas with plenty of potential and already people have decided his fate without seeing him. That is plain wrong.

not sure what you are on about here. I am shocked by the amount of people (almost everyone) who are saying let's play Chen. Contrary to your argument -he is 23yrs of age (hardly youth), is on loan, and plays a position we are flush with.
Exactly right, Feverish.And AllWhitebelievr, the people you are calling "stupid" HAVE actually seen him in action, even if it was just training; however it's more than the vast majority of us have seen.
1. I have not called anyone "stupid". But people do make "stupid" assumptions just like you had assumed that I called someone "stupid". Note the difference.
2. I am not vaildating Chen's inclusion or exclusion in the team's line-up.
3. The decision for him to play is up to the coaches.
4. People here are screaming for him to be included based on his pre-season game performance and one outing is hardly much base to suggest otherwise.
5. People here are screaming for him to be excluded based on one training session after the longest plane travel he had and a few training sessions are hardly much base to suggest otherwise.
6. Ok I maybe wrong about a club "youth" (U21) but mainly referring that he was a recent "youth" U23 Olympic international. He has to have reasonable potential at youth/olympic age.
7. People saying that he is another G** is a "stupid" assumption and he hasn't kicked a A-League football yet. Why do people make such assumptions? Even Ifill took sometime to adjust to the condition and he is experienced at a high level and classy, some people even dared to mocked his first game. How is everyone going to react to Chen when he gets on the field on his club debut?
8. I understood that Chen was a striker and since he is likely to be behind Greenache, Ifill, and likely completing with Costa (and maybe with Hearfield although Hearfield is more AM). He is either 3rd or 4th striker and taken Drapers place by loan. You need at least 4 strikers in a squad (so I am not sure where Feverish have the idea that we are flushing in that position.)
9. If you read in other threads, you understand what I mean about the "Chinese Connection" with people comparing him to to G**. He is not G**.
